"I found this place on Ctrip; the navigation led directly there. Parking was available at the entrance, and there were slow-charging stations. Sitting here, listening to birdsong and cicadas, sipping tea, daydreaming, and relaxing—it felt like paradise. The hostess's culinary skills were even more enticing: Ya'an Qingjiang fish, stir-fried bamboo shoots, spicy tofu, and seasonal vegetables—it would be a shame not to try them! I'll definitely stay longer and continue enjoying all of this!"

So we decided to go to Shangli Ancient Town on a whim and chose this hotel on Ctrip, and we were pleasantly surprised! We arrived around 8 pm, and originally booked a four-person room for five people. The receptionist, seeing our situation, immediately and proactively upgraded us to a six-person room free of charge – so thoughtful! 👍 The service throughout was very warm and attentive, and the staff were all very friendly, making our stay comfortable and reassuring. [The only downside was the hotel breakfast; besides porridge and noodles 🍜, a little bit of steamed sweet potato, small steamed buns, and only one side dish – pickled mustard greens], I hope they can improve that. 😝 Next time I visit Mengding Mountain Ancient Town, this hotel will definitely be my first choice!"

"Aside from the decent location, everything else was just average. We booked during the off-season, and the family room shown on the booking page was actually a standard room. The owner first took us to the second floor, and then to the third floor, and it was the same there. The owner said that's how their family rooms are, and it wasn't as advertised. Secondly, the attitude was poor. We clarified on the day of booking that parking wasn't included, and if we paid before noon the next day, it would only cost ten yuan. However, it took five or six calls to get a response the next day. Thirdly, the washing machine wasn't usable. The owner said it was for their own use and inconvenient for guests. If you're planning to stay here because your clothes are wet from the rain, you should think carefully. The room conditions were what they were. For around 50 yuan in the off-season, and considering it's in an ancient town where you can bring your dog, it's already quite good. However, the owner's attitude and the discrepancy between the description and the actual room made it not worth staying here. There are many other rooms in Shangli Ancient Town; if you're not in a rush to find a room due to the rain, you can look around and compare. By the way, you can explore Shangli Ancient Town in about two hours, three at most. This might be helpful for those visiting the area."
