Ulasan Sofitel on Renmin Square Xi'an

We had a great weekend stay here. The staff was lovely with out 10-month baby. Breakfast was delicious and the play area for kids was perfect. Good location.

There was a little mix up with our reservation when we arrived. The manager and staff worked really hard to resolve the problem. They were very accommodating and went out of their way to be helpful which was appreciated. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. Bed was comfortable. Hotel is a little out of the way of some of the attractions if you are walking but was a short taxi ride.

Very convenient hotel for a short visit of Xi’an. Especially helpful was the concierge Andy Song with his excellent English skills.

It was a great experience at the hotel. Every one was very welcoming. Grease shoutout to the concierge Will Liang, Andy, Kevin Guo, and everyone else there who made us feel welcoming and nothing was too much for them. Thank u for a wonderful stay. We will be back!

Great hotel with great amenities! Rooms feel a little dated, but the facilities, especially the pool and sauna, make up for this! Great location with very friendly staff, we felt very welcomed at this hotel!

An amazing hotel situated in a great location. The staff were incredible, in particular Jack and Andy, they couldn’t help me any more than they did.. Due to flight delays I was given a free 4pm check out, free upgrade on arrival and the breakfast was amazing, loved this place!

Service was great, they upgraded our rooms. Room was clean and spacious, breakfast selection was also good (Western & Eastern options). Highly recommend to those visiting Xi’An!

Always enjoy the service and relaxation at Sofitel. The jacuzzi needs to be cleaned and serviced. Great food and cocktails.

We booked 2 rooms. When we arrive late at night, one of the rooms (2 single bed) was being cancelled which I do not understand what happened. So, we request them to give us a room, they said they got to find out what happened. But it was already near midnight. So, our tour guide told them to just find a room for us. We are given the last room of the level. When we checked into the room, there were insects flying around, which is bad. We did not feel comfortable but we have no choice as there were no other rooms. The next day we complained about the room and the hotel upgraded our room. Unfortunately, when we checked in late at night after our sightseeing, the door cannot be chained inside. we were asked to just lock the room without chaining, and they will repair tomorrow morning. We also realised that the toilet glass door was faulty. The glass door is only hooked from the top leaving the glass door very filmsy but we still can slide but got to be very careful. We complained the 3rd day morning on this concern and were told to change room again. My friend decided that we would not change room for the 2nd time again and so we just stayed with the filmsy toilet glass door till we checked out on 4th day. This is terrible experience for us. We hope that the hotel can do something about the rooms, especially the Suite rooms. This is the 1st time I met with such incident which can never be solved.

Above average hotel but not for the price. There are a few hotels nearby probably more bang for the bucks.

Fantastic hotel that has held up well despite COVID. English speaking for those who need it. Complimentary bed for our child. Wonderful.
