Great location, bright airy rooms were absolutely spotless. Lockbox access to rooms so can check in at any time. Also easy checkout by leaving keys after us. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends. The biscuits and tea coffee maker were a lovely touch

We had a lovely time at Taim lodge, the owner generously took our bags to our rooms as we were rushing to get to lunch. The place is absolutely spotless. Beds are very comfortable, bathroom is shared but that Didn’t bother us as we were up early. Coffee tea & hot chocolate options in room with great Bosch coffee maker, plenty of milk & sugar plus biscuits & chocolate snacks. Nice soft towels and location only 3 mins drive from Westport pubs and shops. Very reasonably priced considering bank holiday weekend, other ordinary hotels were £250 + per night! Will certainly come back

Anyone going to westport for the summer do not book accommodation at taim lodge. We booked a two night stay for early june. It was booked in early may on a third party website. We were quoted a rate and were happy with it. We then mailed the hosts directly to confirm the rate as it was slightly different in our email than on the website. We were quoted a very similiar rate by mail from the lodge. We were still happy to proceed, this week the owner called my wife to say the website had made a mistake and the rate was double the rate quoted but they would negotiate with us. When I called back a day later she quoted me a rate that was triple the rate we agreed on both the website and in the mail from them directly. Luckily we cancelled and are not out of pocket any money but this is an owner that is ultimately trying to scam people by agreeing a rate online and confirming it by email then calling up before the visit and looking for additional money for the stay.

I was 8 mins late to check in and the property manager was gone with no way to contact them. #stranded

We stayed 3 nights in this clean and comfortable room near the town. We werent aware on booking that it was a shared bathroom but the bathroom was across the hall very modern and clean. We didnt see the host from check in and would have liked a change of towels a couple of days in. Towels were left in the basket provided on the landing but were not replaced. Also as this is Bed Only with No Breakfast it might be a nice gesture to leave enough teabags and milk to cover the days of stay. Having stayed in quite a few B+B over the summer which included breakfast I felt this one was nice but way over priced.

A great spot ! Very clean and welcoming. Room was spacious and had lots of information on the town which was really useful. Room was bright and warm with lots of extra towels available It’s very close to Westport town.
