Great staffing with great service. Able to catch multiple free shuttles from/to Wado-Kuroya station. I just have to make a free call through the Trip.com app to contact the hotel, although the staff speaks little English, we were able to communicate using google translate, make sure to use simple language to make it easier for everyone if you are only English speaking. Train at this station is not frequent so best to plan ahead. Only to improve on is i wish we have bigger room for 4 people with the price we were paying. But overall it’s a nice traditional Japanese Ryokan.

Booked a tatami room and a modern design room. After checked-in, realised that modern room doesn't have bathroom. Not manage to try the onsen. Public bath free. Private bath cost ¥3000. The breakfast is rich. Overall stay was good.

Two guests’ price but serves one person actually. It can be more flexible to save one’s money.

Special experience. Enjoy the food a lot. It was delicious and wonderful.

The service is very good. The building is decorated in Japanese style. The hot spring house is under maintenance. There is a special car to take you to another hot spring house for a bath.

The check-in was nice, with a hand towel and a welcome drink, but the room was smaller than it looked in the photos.

Even though it was supposed to be full due to the holidays, it was very quiet and comfortable. Thank you very much for responding perfectly to my request. The food was very delicious and I was impressed by the ingredients and cooking methods that I had never tried before. It's amazing how my physical condition improves so much when I take a bath in this hot spring, and I keep coming back. You will be surprised at how delicious the water you drink after getting out of the thick hot springs. The staff are very friendly and this is an inn with great hospitality.

The purpose of this trip was to spend some time relaxing at the inn. It was a very hot day, so I was very grateful that you came to a convenience store near the station to pick me up. The view from the open-air bath was great, and the staff were all very kind, which left me with good memories.

The environment is quiet and comfortable. The room has a terrace and a soaking tank. Because it is located on the first floor and connected to the grass, it looks like a private garden. The dinner was average on the first night, and the second night was excellent. The breakfast is rich, and you don’t need to pay HK$700 for one stay and two meals a night. It’s very cost-effective

Use: December 31st to January 1st. 8 people. Arrived 30 minutes before check-in. The front desk staff and bellboys and other people waiting in the lobby were top class. The welcome drink was well-attended and well-behaved. We were shown to our room after a while and the service was also good. We went to the designated spot for mealtime from 6pm and sat down at the table. Some of the dishes were already set out, but... The sashimi was a little dry and the boiled noodles in the okonomiyaki were all different thicknesses, as if they had been made by a local amateur. The pre-made hassun was a bad feeling, and the menu only listed the dishes they wanted to emphasize. The end of the year gathering with the children's families and the excitement of welcoming the new year was greatly diminished. Steamed food with no hint of yuzu, cheap salmon with miso sauce... Dismayed, we returned to our room and went to the hot spring. It was a little warm in a private setting, but the temperature was comfortable. We wanted to go in again. We returned to our room and had the futon as we had agreed upon. After a night of family fun, I went to bed. The next morning's meal was New Year's Day, and I was stunned when I saw the food...we didn't come to eat New Year's dishes. Even if they had given that up, I wouldn't have the mochi in the zoni. It felt like mochi that had been cooked in a steam convection oven was simply served in a bowl. It was a moment of astonishment. The impression of this accommodation, where everything except the food was hospitable, fell apart before my eyes. Thank you to the post office worker who took a photo of me with his smartphone in front of the entrance when I checked out. I don't think I'll use this place again.

After hiking Minoyama and visiting Hijiri Shrine, we used the day trip lunch and in-room bath plan. Check-in was at 11:30. Relax in a calm environment. Lunch was a small course of six dishes, but it was enough. Before the meal, we washed off the sweat in the open-air bath in the room, then took a bath in the large public bath after the meal, and after the bath, we relaxed in the room for a while, and before we knew it, time had flown by and we felt like we wanted to rest a little longer. We checked out at 13:39. After that, we called a taxi to the inn and visited Terasaka Rice Terraces and Komatsuzawa Tourist Farm, concluding our day trip along the Chichibu Road. On the way back, we quickly returned home on the La View from Seibu Chichibu.

Our inquiries in advance were dealt with courteously, and we were able to enjoy our stay. Check-in was also smooth, with us being shown to a chair and being given a welcome drink. The hot spring is not a free-flowing bath, but it is a circulating bath that is colorless, transparent, neutral, and gentle on the skin. There is also a private bath, which is available almost 24 hours a day, so you can relax and enjoy it at your leisure. The food was typical country cuisine and was delicious. I was a bit concerned about the high salt content. The location is blessed with a great environment, so I was able to spend my time quietly and relax. I would recommend it!
