Ulasan Mandara Resort Mirissa

The resort is in a great location if you don’t mind taking a car to Galle or Turtle Bay or Coconut Hill or walking very far down the beach. The sea which is at the front of the hotel is very brown during July time because of the overflow of the river. Also very polluted with plastics. Other beaches nearby are nice and blue. The WiFi in the room was terrible, I needed to leave the room to get signal and even then it wasn’t strong. The fitness room was just a glass room with 3 pieces of equipment, so if you’re paying for that (which I was) don’t! Swimming pool was kept very clean, and so was the room. Beautiful decor and spacious. The shower was outside in a private and enclosed courtyard area which was a surprise! Nobody could see in of course. Most of the staff were very helpful and friendly, however some younger male staff overstepped their boundaries. If you are looking to pay half board, that does not include lunch, only breakfast and dinner. Additional drinks are also not included. Dinner was delicious! Mostly, a very happy experience.

Excellent location. Quite nearby to mirissa harbour and weligama. Liked the property. They arranged a candle lit dinner setting nearby beach as it was my honeymoon on request for no additional charges. Liked the beach, the swimming facilities and the buffet for dinner as well as breakfast. Arranged breakfast box as i had to go on whale watching and would have missed my breakfast. Very nice staff. Only thing they can improve is a bit quick on service as we had to call multiple times for getting our room cleaned.

Nice place to relax for a few days. Food could be better but staff are very friendly and good to have a chat with whenever 👌🏼

Booked two twin beds but had to share a double. Not convenient for two men but still a really nice stay. Feel like this should have been compensated in some way

Good resort!! The rooms can have some modern furniture and ammenities!! Overall was a very comfortable and good stay!! Have a very good clean pool!! Attached beach!!

房間好大，地理位置很好，海景很贊，出門就是大海，設施老了，衞生一般，餐廳吃飯很好，還有駐場歌手，服務不錯

看之前評論避開了瀉湖景房子，選了海景房，但是這片海居然是黃色的。。 經常斷電，屋子裡太潮濕桌子都是油油的，有好多蟲子， 優點：晚餐還挺好吃，工作人員服務態度還挺好，離coconut tree hill四公里多點，這個景點很出片，如圖234。 不知道怎麼評的五星酒店，整體感覺像個招待所，接待旅行團那種，個人還是更喜歡精品民宿別墅之類，體驗會好很多。

酒店還是不錯的，服務人員都很友善。 不過來這裏千萬別定泄湖景的房間，在酒店外的一個小院子裏，也沒有門衞感覺不太安全。 酒店的自助晚餐味道不錯，主樓出去就是海灘，比美瑞莎那邊人少一些，沙灘上有一些流浪狗。

酒店設施完善，但室內設施極微簡單。海景房很漂亮，但湖景房不在酒店主區域內，品質就很差了。另需注意這個地區海水質量變化很大，這個灣景色好，但海水不適合游泳

地理位置很方便，房間挺大的，很適合家庭旅遊度假，值得推薦！

Clean, functional rooms. Amazing location - picture shows the view from our room. A short walk into Weligama and its surfy vibe. Hotel staff were amazing - friendly and helpful. Particularly Priyankara, the bar man, and Sambath, the pool attendant - guessing our every need. My (fussy) kids found something to eat from the menu, the hotel also runs a good buffet brekfast and dinner too. We found the hotel pretty quiet during the day, which we liked, some evenings were busier with a bonfire on the beach and music but it was maybe 2 nights out of the 7 and didn’t disturb us. There’s a turtle egg sanctuary on-site and any overnight hatchlings are released by guests the following morning. The kids enjoyed this. We found the hotel good value for money and really enjoyed our stay. We would go back for sure!

We stayed at this property for two nights in July 2023, and while there were some highlights, there were also areas needing improvement. The property has a charming vintage feel, and we enjoyed our room, which featured an outdoor pool. Unfortunately, the service did not meet my expectations. My partner had organized a surprise romantic dinner, but the staff lacked the necessary information to facilitate the event smoothly. Additionally, their billing system was inefficient, leading to an unacceptably long wait for our final invoice. On a positive note, Priyankara from the bar truly made our stay memorable. He was consistently friendly and attentive to our needs, enhancing our experience significantly. The location is fantastic, right by a sandy beach, which we loved. We chose this property primarily for the whale-watching opportunity, and it definitely added to our excitement. Thank you!
