We have stayed in this hotel twice a year since it opened and sadly it seems to have gone downhill. It has added luxury rooms, which are good, but our problem is with the restaurant. On our last visit in September '24 the kitchen ran out of most food and we were only offered a curry, rice and naan bread. On this occasion the kitchen was obviously very short staffed (as was the waiting staff). Our table had been booked for the wrong time. We waited approximately 45 minutes for our food. When it was served it was inedible and badly presented. Other guests were complaining that their food was cold. Finally the harassed waitress apologised to everyone and didn't charge for food or drink. This is just not good enough when we had been attending a trade show, walking all day, and just wanted to relax rather than have to drive to a restaurant.
