Ramada by Wyndham Wakefield ★★★★

"Excellent service and location"

Cbh Waterton Park Hotel and Spa ★★★★

"Such potential! Gorgeous setting and Hall but rooms in older part need refurbing. With quite an investment this could be a superb hotel! The staff try their best but obvious limitations with the age of the property. Spa and pool could do with a refurb too - then you could easily charge a LOT more as a destination hotel"

The Kiln Hotel, Part of AG Collection, Wakefield ★★★

"The hotel is very basic, more like a motel style in the US, with the rooms set off to the side of the main building. The reception team were exceptionally friendly, and the breakfast was hot and of good quality and if paid for in advance when you check in you get a discounted price. If you are looking for a 5-star hotel, this is not the place for you, but as a budget hotel with basic facilities and reasonably priced, you won't be disappointed."

Holiday Inn Express WAKEFIELD by IHG ★★★

"The bathroom could do with a bit of TLC, door wouldn't close properly and the paints coming off. Other than that was okay, as expected - although no bacon at breakfast."

Travelodge Wakefield Woolley Edge M1 Northbound ★★★

"After delayed flights from Arizona, we then had a long drive up from London heading for Edinburgh. We stopped at this travelodge for a break.such a nice clean and cosy room, ideal value for money. "
