It is remote and you need a 4x4 to get there. They will pick you up so no need to worry. The food was amazing so you will definitely not be starving. The owner and staff made us feel at home and we will recommend anyone to stay here."

Location, facilities, food and most of all splendid staff, especially Alberto. Santa Carolina is an enormous beautifully furnished suite with superb views. The island trip to the National Park is well worth doing. Don’t spend time thinking about, it just book and come. You won’t regret it."

"Exotic, warm, boutique feel; one bar, one restaurant, intimate rather than sprawling. Garden rooms (not beachfront) were still lovely, just a short walk from reception. Allergy handling was the best of the whole trip. Staff briefed in advance, never needed repeating, and were fully flexible about dining anywhere on the property. Flags: beach access is via steep, narrow, uneven steps, so it’s not accessible for anyone with mobility or balance issues. There’s no sunset on this stretch (sunrise instead), and it’s a public beach with large sandbanks at low tide. Standout: staff warmth and genuinely excellent cocktails."

"My husband and I stayed for 4 nights in Nov 24 and had the most incredible stay at Asdunas. The food is fresh and delicious, daily massages were a real bonus and the beds are so comfortable. We kept a couple of the tent sides uncovered overnight to allow the lovely sea breeze in to keep us cool & was lovely to wake up to the natural morning sunlight! Could not recommend Asdunas and the team there enough to anyone thinking of visiting Mozambique!"
