My best friend and I stayed here for 7 nights on a girls trip to Venice.. For us, being in our 30's/40's it was much appreciated that we were separated from the hustle and bustle of Venice's main islands as it can get very crowded. But Lido and specifically this hotel is still within easy distance (ar a slow pace it'll take you less than 5mins) and accessibility of the regular running of the Waterbus'. Hotel Rigel is not a modern hotel, yet it has retained its charm, and has that authentic Venician style of days past that people like myself are searching for when travelling.. Staff were lovely, guy on the front desk was super helpful, even teaching me some the proper pronunciation of my very limited Italian vocabulary. Housekeeping came everyday and did a good job and breakfast was good with plenty of options... To sum it up, I had one of the best weeks of my entire life in Venice and although I rarely revisit a place once I've been once, I'm already considering another trip and I wouldn't hesitate to stay at Hotel Rigel.
