📍 16 Bd Général de Gaulle, Valence

"The hotel is decorated with elegance and quality, but upon arrival there was a slightly unpleasant smell. I was immediately changed rooms and upgraded, too. The room was perfectly equipped, with bathrobes, coffee machine and kettle, separate toilet, very spacious, beautiful and warm. The bed was perfect, which is quite rare. The welcome was friendly, attentive and efficient"

Maison de la Pra Hotel di Valence

Maison de la Pra

"The SatNav took us down a couple of narrow streets, the second of which appeared to be a dead end. Then the gate opened to reveal a very old property with a small courtyard for parking. After a speedy checkin by one of the family, we were shown to our room on first floor, overlooking the pool. Spacious, with all amenities and a great shower. The breakfasting room is large, aa is the lounge with the small bar. All charming. Wish we had a second night to enjoy the pool and facilities. The town/city is really nice, ( only 2 mins away) with good shops and many restaurants & bars. On the Fri night we were there, a White Party was staged in the main square. Absolutely heaving but great fun. We would certainly return here, and to Maison de la Pra."

"The room was comfortable and clean. The location wasn't great and the room facing the road was very noisy. Also, the light under the sink wasn't working. As for the underground garage, I found it to be very dangerous and narrow, and you enter and exit through the same garage entrance."

"I found this place as a stopover on my way to Colmar. It's a very friendly city, and there are castle ruins nearby to climb. I highly recommend it. The room was clean and there were basic kitchen utensils so I could make my own salad."
