Our 3rd visit to the Peninsula, we obviously enjoy it here! Well we can walk to a few of our favourite places or if we take the bus, the bus stop is only a stones throw away. I think there had been some redecoration to the hotel since our last visit which was easter time last year & it all looked goo. The staff again very friendly, I found more choice in the breakfast menu this time, last year there seemed to be lack of food (bakery items, yoghurts, fruit etc) so much improved. Weather wasnt the best but thats not hotels fault & we didnt let the weather spoil out little break. We will be back!

A short break stay on PC coach holiday. I lasted visited Guernsey on a tall ship schooner over 50 years ago! Our hotel was in a beautiful location! Wonderful views across the bay from our room. Coastal and beach walks only a few metres away. Staff friendly and courteous. Food excellent. Real ale beers were very good. 'Betty' was my favourite. The weather was fine during our stay but not yet warm enough for a swim.

We had a lovely time staying at this hotel, nice quiet location and made a good base. Although October the heated swimming pool was still open and we made use of it every day. The food was good and the hotel staff friendly and helpful. We did have trouble opening bedroom door which could be a bit tricky but did not spoil our enjoyment at all.

Really happy we chose this hotel. Great location. Very dog friendly, lovely room with sea view. Hotel itself was very clean and comfortable surrounds. Bar area was welcoming and all the staff we came across were lovely. Breakfast options were very good and plentiful. They had a Mexican evening on the Saturday that looked great fun (we didn’t eat in the restaurant as it’s the only no go zone for dogs although you can eat in many other areas around the bar and lounge area). The outdoor pool area was a gorgeous setting with comfy sunbeds. Would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel with or without your dog. Great walks from outside the door.

Really nice hotel in a wonderful location. While some areas could do with a bit of a spruce up, nothing can detract from the amazing staff. Cheerful helpful friendly they are fantastic.
Breakfast is good, restaurant very nice food too

Stayed for 7 nights and received a warm welcome from the staff, room was basic, swimming pool terrible as not heated, service in restaurant above average until a coach party arrived, we the residents then became second class citizens and were unable to book a table for dinner and breakfast was a disappointment as food kept on running out. Breakfast staff allowed coach party of one or two people to sit on 4 person tables. Hot food continually served cold on the buffet. All in all, a bitter disappointment and quite how Visit Guernsey rates this as 4 star is bizarre!! We returned to the island and spent a week in a real 4* hotel, the Duke of Richmond, which is also 4* and really excellent, when it should be 5*, another bizarre rating by Visit Guernsey. All in all, the Peninsula is overrated and should be reduced to 2 or 4* at best I

Our stay was for 6 days starting on a Monday. We arrived around lunch time and decided to have lunch in the restaurant. Schools in Guernsey were still on holiday and the outside area for food was full of families and no room for hotel guests. The same thing happen on the following Saturday when we decided to sit around the pool only to have the staff placing reserved notices on all of the tables. On each table was a note to say that the tables were reserved from 12 noon until 3pm for locals. Bang on 12 the place was filled with families taking over the whole of the pool area. One woman asked for a umbrella and a member of staff removed one that was being used by a hotel resident. Service for food was slow as the restaurant staff concentrated on the locals around the pool. My recommendation is to stay mid week when the children are at school.

The Peninsula Hotel in Guernsey is a lovely hotel with great sea views. The rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean and tidy, as is everywhere else. The staff give you a warm welcome, and they are all immaculately clean and smart. You can leave the car behind and go everywhere by bus. The buses are fairly frequent and the bus stop is only a few minutes walk from the hotel. They have a lovely restaurant with great food and there is also a bar menu. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.
