"This is an absolute gem of a place hidden away in the North Devonshire countryside and well worth a visit. The manor itself is secluded and extremely peaceful, with a modern spa situated a very short walk from the main building. This is an ideal place to bring your loved one for a few nights of "yourself time". The staff are really friendly but not intrusive and make you feel at home from the minute you arrive. We stayed in one of the "old rooms" which was perfect, the bed very comfortable, the bathroom clean and the water hot! The food offered for both breakfast and evening meal is especially worth a mention, as it was outstanding, do leave room for the puddings even if you're on a diet! Not far from here are RHS Rosemoor gardens, Arlington Court and Dartington crystal, all worth a visit, but equally, downtime with a book, a visit to the spa and total relaxation are very much an alternative. Wonderful stay!"
