This place is a worth to try in Raiatea. Good situation, peaceful and beautiful. The food and the staff are amazing. I highly recommend this place. You also have kayaks for free to join the little islet ( about 15 minutes away) You have cars on site that you can rent for the day to go around the Island.

The lodge is located in front of the lagoon; with 15 min kayak ( provided by the Lodge) you will be able to reach a nice atoll for swimming or snorkeling. There are also bikes to discover the Island. The restaurant is offering a good choice of meat and fish prepared following Polynesian recipes. The Lodge staff was very helpful and always available to reply to every request with kindness. High recommended place to discover Raiatea and spend a relaxing holiday.

Beautiful views, sunsets, grounds and rooms! Dishes and desserts at the on-site restaurant were also amazing. And they saved us when we suddenly found ourselves without accommodations. Service was wonderful as well. We enjoyed our stay so much!

Lovely, helpful staff who assisted us with our transfer to Ta'haa. We had a beautiful, large room with a great seaview. We were on halfboard and the food was amazing with a lot of options. Breakfast was also good. We spent 3 nights here but wished we'd had a bit longer.

What a perfect place to spend the day while we waited to board for our sail. We purchased a day pass and enjoyed the property for about 6 hours. They provided the ride from the airport and to the marina, coffee and rolls, a great lunch, and full access to the pool, showers, bikes, changing rooms. The staff was fantastic and we all agreed that this was a great day.

What a wonderful experience! We stayed at Raiatea Lodge for two nights before a sailing charter and everything was great! The staff at Raiatea Lodge are welcoming, kind, and quickly feel like friends! They are very accommodating and really care that you're enjoying your trip. We rented cars from the lodge for one day to explore the island... so easy and convenient. The food was plentiful, beautiful and delicious (except for the veggie burger, which was really a bland tofu burger - I recommend vegetarians stick to the pasta & salad). The rooms were clean and comfortable. I highly recommend Raiatea Lodge if you're visiting their island!

Great hotel near the sea. Near the airport, with posibility to rent a car directly in the hotel. From restaurant or pool you can watch amazing sun sets and Bora Bora contours. Restaurant is in very good level. To the nearest motu you can sail with hotel canoes.

We stayed in a bungalow and loved it. The bed was so comfortable and it had a sweet little porch. The pool at the hotel is lovely and the desk people are so kind and friendly. The sunsets were beautiful and so is the island of Raiatea. The historical sites are not to be missed. We would definitely stay here again.

Friends had stayed here and told us it was very nice, so we decided to give it a try for three nights, prior to boarding a Trade-Winds catamaran. It was a little pricey, but part of that was my own fault. I somehow booked a family suite for just the two of us. However, it also included partial board - breakfast and dinner. The hotel arranged transportation from the airport (for a fee of course), and the lady who met us was fantastic. She was very friendly and gave us a bit of history of the island on the way to the hotel. We were met at the hotel with a welcome beverage and the lady who checked us in explained everything and was very helpful in answering our questions. The room was absolutely beautiful. It turned out to be a two bedroom with a king bed in one room and two single beds in the other - which held our suitcases very well! lol The a/c worked nicely and the room was well furnished. There were french doors we could open, however, we didn't do that much because of the heat and humidity. One thing we didn't care for was the design of the bathroom. The shower was in one corner with no walls, so when you took a shower, the whole bathroom got wet. We had to dry off the rest of the floor after showering. Also, the sink is small and the mirror even smaller! Shaving was a challenge, between the small mirror and odd lighting. We arrived on a Wednesday, and they have a traditional Tahitian show and buffet on Wednesdays. It was a nice surprise and the dancers and music were very enjoyable, as was the buffet. The hotel provides (at no charge), beach towels, kayaks and bicycles. And there is a pool. We took advantage of everything in our three days there. The food in the restaurant was outstanding! We even had lunch in the restaurant and the warm brie salad was to die for. Drink prices were a little on the high side, but we understand it IS a resort island and a wonderful property. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a day pass after a week long sail and my only regret was not staying longer. The staff were very pleasant, from making the reservations for our group of 8, to the servers and bar staff. The resort is lovely. I fell in love with it. The food was superb much like a high end restaurant. A+++

We stayed for 6 nights in one of the bungalows (Bora Bora 1) following a cruise.  The bungalow was spacious, nicely furnished and had beautiful views from the veranda across to Bora Bora. We had half board and  the food was excellent. We hired a car from the hotel for the day which allowed us to see around the island and we also took one of the excursions, a day boat trip around Tahaa which was excellent. The hotel also has bikes and kayaks which you can use for free.   When booking our holiday to Polynesia we wanted somewhere to relax after our cruise and everyone said we must stay on Bora Bora. As the cruise included two days at Bora Bora our travel agent recommended Raiatea and the Raiatea Lodge Hotel. We are really glad he did as Raiatea is a lovely island to explore and The Raiatea Lodge is a little gem of an hotel.

Since our pre-covid stay at the lodge, they have added outdoor bungalows to the property and refurbished their pool. The smiles and attentive service were just what we had come to know from before. The food was great ( we did the half-pension breakfast & dinner ), and they have bikes to use anytime and a rental car you can reserve in advance to tour the island. If you are lucky, you will be able to take in the large Wednesday night Polynesian show!! Mauruuru.

When visiting Raiatea there is no better hotel to stay in that this. Firstly when you look at the photos, it looks like a 'big' hotel, please be informed that this hotel is one of the friendliest, best and most genuine hotels we have ever stayed in in all of our years working in travel and tourism. The rooms are beautifully designed and have a very tranquil feel. The food is genuinely OUT OF THIS WORLD good. We have visited many Michelin starred restaurants on our travels and the food quality, service and presentation is up there with the best. Even if you're not half board, the prices are more than reasonable. The pool area is brand new with top quality pool furniture and feels sophisticated and high end - it's reminiscent of the kind of 'swanky' Instagramable type pool you get in a 5 star Miami boutique hotel. In fact, this hotel sums up 'boutique hotel' perfectly. The grounds are manicured yet authentic with a beautiful view of the lagoon. The kayaks and bicycles are free and are PREMIUM quality. We recommend you grab a kayak and paddle over to the motu opposite for an explore - was one of our favourite memories of Raitaea. The cocktails are high quality and the champagne is a really reasonable price. There is nothing better than relaxing by the pool here and indulging in a beautiful bottle of champagne... Working up a hunger for a scrumptious meal to come. And breakfast is AMAZING. SUPER fresh, delicious and totally homemade. Walking into a room decorated with flowers and smelling delicious puts you in a good mood for the whole stay. Being given a welcome drink and a refreshing cold towel and a full explanation of all the wonderful things the hotel has to offer is such a wonderful and professional way to start your stay. We literally can't say enough good things about the owners. Pleasant, polite, friendly, genuine and funny. They have a gem of a hotel that makes you feel instantly relaxed the second you step into it and that's not just the beautiful surroundings, but so much of that is down to them making you feel so welcome and like you are at home. If you are debating between here and the 'other' highly rated hotel on Raiatea. Stay here. Believe us we know, we stayed at both. You will not regret staying here. (Yet we regretted leaving here to stay somewhere else!) PLUS it's 5 mins from the airport and 10 mins from town. Its perfectly located for diving, shopping and getting the feel for Raiatea. Don't make the same mistake as we did by going somewhere way out of the way after staying here... And instead, give yourself the relaxing beautiful break you deserve at Raiatea Lodge HOTEL. You won't regret it.
