"We had dinner with my son, his wife, and my grandson at the attached Japanese restaurant, "Ayu no Sho," and then stayed overnight. Initially, it was planned for four people to stay - my son, his wife, my wife, and myself - but on the day itself my son had to go home for work, so it was just my wife, my wife, and myself staying, but they gladly accepted the change. Dinner was supposed to be for five people, but only three people stayed, and the number of guests changed on the day - it was an unusual arrangement, but everything went smoothly. The Japanese-style inn had a spacious lobby and lounge, and the furnishings and artwork placed here and there were heavy and luxurious. Above all, it was immaculately clean, and there was not a speck of dust on the furnishings in the lobbies on each floor. The inn's thoughtfulness was evident. It was a truly comfortable stay. "This is our first ryokan. Overall, the experience is excellent!!! A truly wonderful experience. The staff is incredibly friendly. The food is fresh seafood, rice, and local soups. It's not that it's not delicious. It is. There's plenty of it, but after the third meal like this, you'll be craving something with pasta. :)))) The room was cleaned every day. "We had dinner with our family at the neighboring sweetfish restaurant "Ayu no Sho" and then stayed overnight. It has the feel of a traditional Japanese inn, but the lobby is spacious and we were able to relax in the lounge.
