Hotel Petit Bali Garden Shin-Okubo (Adult Only)

No room service and the rooms are small, but other than that it's an excellent hotel, great service, very clean.

I stayed 6 nights as a SOLO female traveler and wondered if this was the right hotel for me. For one thing, the "Adults only" confused me. So I researched the concept "Love Hotels" in Japan I wondered if a solo traveler would feel comfortable. The room felt safe and secure, bed was comfortable. The AC unit worked throughout the night, I like to sleep on the cool side. I had enough room to open my luggage. They rent their rooms out for just day use also. I did pay much more through ******* for my room than the going rate that was advertised on the outside of the hotel. Clean-up staff is available late into the evenings. This hotel is located in a small alley, which they consider a road, but I walked there at different hours of the night and never felt unsafe. The staff was accommodating and kind, they cater to Japanese locals. This is a different experience from your mainstay hotels, it is more Japanese. I saw couples and singles who wore their robes down to get drinks and snacks from their open areas. It looks very exotic. They also advertised hosting small girlfriend parties on their in-house website.
