Ulasan almond hostel & cafe Shibuya

It was really great for the price. Cafe downstairs was really cute. Even enjoyed a night stroll around the neighbourhood.

You need to walk a very steep stairs to get to your room. No door to black the noise of hairdryer. It could be a big problem. Becuase lots of people come back late at night and still using hairdryer and pack their luggage. Bed is okay, a bit hot, ventilation wasn't really good, not enough AC inside the bed. The share / common area is very small.

The stairs and the capsule room itself is so small, the stairs up to my capsule is so steep and hard to get down and climb up to everyday, but the environment is so nice and quiet, so close to 2 train stations, super strategic, and the amenities are complete. The staffs are helpful too!

The hotel is near the station, which is a good one to stay there, I would like to come back

It was a relatively good place among the murderous accommodation prices in Shibuya. It is close to either Yoyogi Park Station or Yoyogi Hachiman Station. Self-check-in using a tablet was a bit unfamiliar, but Korean is supported. All amenities such as towels, slippers, locks, and toothbrushes are paid. (I was a little surprised that they didn't even provide towels.) Hair dryers cannot be used between 11 PM and 6:30 AM. Thanks to this, it is quiet. The next morning, I had brunch at the cafe on the first floor, and it was delicious.

It was a great experience, but at night, many foreigners drank and talked loudly, so you had to report it to them, otherwise everything else was great.

Reception is at the cafe. Self-check-in is done using a tablet. As I had never used a tablet before, a staff member did it for me. There were many foreigners staying there. There was a lot of trash, and both trash cans were overflowing. Paper towels ran out quickly and were not replenished. I guess the foreigners had bad manners. The dormitory bed was a partitioned space, so I was able to sleep well. It was conveniently located near Yoyogi Park Station on the Chiyoda Line and Yoyogi Hachiman Station on the Odakyu Line.

The location and appearance were very good. When checking in, we went into the cafe downstairs and listened to the staff's explanation. The room had a high ceiling for a capsule type, and there were two outlets. However, the shower room (2) and toilet (about 5?) were also in the same space as the bedroom. Shoes were generally required, and foreigners walked around barefoot without worrying, but it was inconvenient. There was a luggage storage under the bed, and the door could be closed but not locked. We did not have anything stolen this time. You can rent towels, slippers, padlocks, etc. as an option, but if you are concerned about this, you may want to bring your own. The photo shows a sign next to the sink. I think people who want to dry their hair can use it without worrying.

Not bad for just sleeping alone However, there was no hot water and it was uncomfortable.

If you're a girl, it's very convenient to stay in a girls-only place. It's pretty clean and it's ok for a day or two.

The staff at the reception cafe treated me kindly and politely, and I had a comfortable stay. I was able to eat at the cafe on the 1st floor without eating, and it was very close to the station (Yoyogi Hachiman for me) and it was very convenient.

Nearby is the subway station and 711 convenience store, one bed per person, suitable for single travel
