"Great Stay at Inthira Thakhek I stayed at Inthira Thakhek for a business trip and, as always, had a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the check-in and stay smooth. My Standard Twin Room was clean and comfortable, though the exhaust fan was a bit noisy. I appreciate their eco-friendly approach—providing glass bottles of water instead of plastic. The breakfast was à la carte with a limited portion, and guests could choose only one menu item, but the self-service tea, coffee, and orange juice were unlimited. Overall, a great stay! I will definitely return on my next trip to Thakhek."

"I stayed here for one night on a 30-day self-driving road trip that included both far northern and southern Laos, to Vat Phou. The vehicle, a four-wheel drive Ford pickup truck was hired from and returned to Luang Prabang. This is a true three-star hotel that operates like a full-service five-star property. At a walk-in rate of 630,000 LAK this falls into the high range of my normal budget. However, the other nearby properties were unappealing or more expensive. If you want to save some cash, move away from the riverside. Otherwise, this is a very good, professionally run hotel. The room and bathroom were both clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The refrigerator, air conditioning, hot water, and wi-fi worked well. The bedding, towels, etc. were good. Breakfast was also included in a full-service restaurant that is also open for lunch and dinner. There is ample parking for folks who self-drive. I would have stayed here on my way back north through Thakhek but I chose another less expensive property that I will also review."

"We planned to stay in Tha Farang but water is not clear in this season. We came back to Chandala Hotel as we like the large room with balcony, the clean beds, and the Receptionist having so good customer services. Everything was good. Found out today that after the spouse takes the shower, better to wait for a few minutes before using or the switch on the board outside shower room would be turned off automatically. Can turn it on after a while. This is not a luxury hotel but it has the basic amenities for a comfortable stay and the price is reasonable. Wifi works well. The steps (no elevator), the hallway, public areas before walking to our room and parking lot are all spacious. Location is right on the river (walk across the street). There are some construction works going by the river. The government might build a walkway along the riverbank."

"Super nice staff, we spontaneously gave us a room for the night. Unfortunately, the washing basin was broken. It was partly dissolved out of the wall and hang down and was light. One staff member looked at all, but meant we could use it like that. Then it went well, we were just careful. Otherwise beautiful facilities and good breakfast "

"Good location, near the Tha Khaek center. The room is spacious and clean. There's just no TV. There's a Kuama noodle shop next door, and the prices are reasonable."
