Lighthouse Apartments

The location is excellent and the staff downstairs is helpful, but they do not actually work for Lighthouse apartments, only hand out keys, so they cannot do much if there is something wrong. The description of the flats is not correct - the description states there will be bathrobes. Nope. The description states there will be a coffee machine. No, there is none. The description states there is a big TV with cable, and yes, there is indeed a big TV, but apparently the batteries for one of the remote controls need changing, so it does not work. The staff downstairs can apparently only email the owners and ask them to buy more batteries. So, during our stay, no functional TV either. The flats are very clean but very basic and VERY small. The description states they sleep max four people, and maybe four very small individuals can find enough room, but I was struggling with just myself and my teenage son. The sofabed that doubles as the extra bed is super uncomfortable. The view from the balcony is amazing though, but as our room, one with views towards the old town, also faces a rather busy street, one may want to pack earplugs as well.

Location: Die Apartments befinden sich circa 10 Minuten Fußweg von der Altstadt entfernt, und es gibt zahlreiche Restaurants und Supermärkte, sowie eine Shopping Mall in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Anreise: An der Adresse angekommen, befindet sich der Eingang zum Gebäude, direkt links neben dem großen Stahltor, das in den Hof führt. Im Erdgeschoss gibt es eine Rezeption, die Tag und Nacht besetzt ist, und an der mir gegen Vorlage meiner Buchung der Schlüssel zum Apartment ausgehändigt wurde. Zwischen 22:00 Uhr und 6:00 Uhr ist der Haupteingang abgeschlossen, jedoch kann man einfach klopfen, oder die an der Eingangstür angebrachte Telefonnummer der Rezeption anrufen. Parken: Es gibt zahlreiche zur Immobilie gehörende Parkplätze, die 10 € pro Nacht kosten, und im Innenhof des Gebäudes liegen. Unterkunft: Das Apartment war mit einer voll ausgestatteten Küche, sowie einer Klimaanlage und komfortablen Möbeln ausgestattet. Zudem war das Internet schnell genug, so dass man problemlos am Laptop arbeiten konnte. Leider gab es in dem Apartment keine Waschmaschine, so dass man Kleidung gegebenenfalls in die Wäscherei bringen muss. Fazit: Ich würde diese Unterkunft bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Tallinn wieder besuchen, und vorbehaltlos weiter empfehlen.
