Ulasan Hida Takayama Guest House OUKA

Place is exceptional. Cleanliness, showers, toilets all available and really great quality. Only down side was the distance if the weather was bad. I can't blame them as weather is uncontrollable, but it's pretty tough to be dragging heavy luggages over to and fro in the rain or snow. Else if it was slightly nearer to the food areas, it would have been spectacular, else it's perfect!

This Guest House is the Best ONE i ever stayed before. GOOD VALUE

We booked family room with 1 single bed and two Bunk bed. Very sizeable room for us. But need to walk around 7-10 mins from JR station.the receptionist are very nice to give us some guidelines when the typhoon was coming . JR service was stopped. They are very helpful . Thank you so much!

Location is very convenient. Amazing front staff, very helpful.The room is big enough for the families .They even drop a sweet welcome note for us upon our arrival.Helpful host.They guide us the places to visit nearby and a day trip . Dine/kitchen room has all necessary items.Showe room are cleaned.you can find all the relevant information on the walls. Overall all very happy with the stat at OUKA . thanks.

○立地 高山駅から徒歩10分程度。主要な市街地からも同じくらい。少し遠いが許容範囲か。 ○サービス ゲストハウスとしては必要十分なサービスが提供される。 エコノミーシングルルームにテーブルが欲しかった。無いということは室内で飲食をしてほしくない、ということなのだろうが。 市街地散策に自転車を1日600円で借りられる。(街のレンタサイクルは1300円が相場) ○清潔さ よく清掃が行き届いている。また、至るところにアルコール消毒液が設置されている。 この時節柄かシャワールームを部屋毎に専用にしていた。 ゲストも宿の意思を尊重して、パブリックスペースではマスクを付けるなど、配慮をするべきである。 ○設備、アメニティ Wi-Fiは良好。タオルが無料。シャワールームにリンスインシャンプーとボディソープ。コーヒー、日本茶、紅茶のフリードリンク。食器、調理器具などが自由に使える。加湿器の設置は部屋による？必要十分な設備、アメニティ。

Tres bien

Nice hotel/hostel/ryokan. Big plus, it's close to the station, about 10 minutes. It's a hostel with dormitories and it also has traditional Japanese tatami rooms. The one I had was really big and it was really clean. Really liked my stay at Ouka.

Guest House Ouka is amazing!! The rooms and common area are very comfortable. The staff is so friendly and accomodating. They have tons of food and entertainment recommendations on the walls so I didn't have any worries about how to spend my time in Takayama. Lastly, they had unlimited free tea in the kitchen.

Really disappointing. We've booked 2 nights in a Japanese style bedroom for a couple and when we arrived the lady told us our bedroom has a problem with the bathroom so they've "upgraded" us. However instead of a Japanese style room with futons they gave us a western style bedroom with 4 single beds. The room was boring without any Japanese style. We aren't in Japan to sleep in the same bed (and even inconfortable ones in Ouka Guesthouse) than at home. They said we are lucky because we have a big kitchen on our floor of 3 bedrooms. Yes true but we didn't mind as we didn't plan to use it at all. And the second disappointment was that on our floor there were 3 bedrooms and one of them had a big Japanese door so pretty sure it was a Japanese style bedroom. Unoccupied for 2 nights. Anyway. Worst experience we had during our trip in Japan. I would expect more than a simple "sorry".
