Hotel di Songshan Airport Area, Taipei

Landis Taipei Hotel is a really top tier 5 star hotel that in my opinion goes all out for best in class hotel experience. The huge bathtub in my room is from Kohler, and the shower head from Hansgrohe. The room itself is big enough to lay out my luggage. Only concern is transportation options. While the hotel is situated right in front of a bus stop, the buses don't come frequently. Hence, public transportation via buses is sometimes a hit or miss. And the hotel is not near to a MRT station in my experience. Overall, I have a wonderful stay in Taipei and would gladly recommend it to friends.

Really nice hotel for a family of 3. A spacious room for 3+ luggages opened and a bathroom with bathtub, bathroom and toilet separated, allowing more than 1 using the bathroom. Nice breakfast area with buffet and a la carte menu section.

Awesome bathroom with bathtub and showers. Very quiet and sound proof from the outside roads and cars sounds. Room a bit small but the bed is so comfy and fell asleep in no time. All in all I will come back again next time i'm in TPE.

Very very good hotel and friendly front office staff, worth every cent. Suberb location with a nice market just around the corner. Starbucks is just next to the hotel, got my delicious coffee conveniently every morning to start the day. Perfect place to stay if visiting Taipei!

I am happy to share my experience at the Courtyard Marriott. It was my first stay at the hotel and I must say I was very impressed. The hotel was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The staff were very friendly and professional. They were quick to rectify any mistakes and even apologized for them. The breakfast served at the hotel was one of the best I have ever had. I must admit, I indulged quite a bit and gained a few extra pounds over my visit. The gym was decent and provided me with a good workout experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and functional. I even enjoyed the elevator music. One thing that made my stay special was the email I received from the hotel staff (Jane Li) the day after I checked out. The email thanked me for staying at the hotel and requested my feedback on the service provided. This level of customer service is exceptional and I have never experienced it before. Well done Courtyard Marriott! I am definitely planning to come back.

My stay at the Silken Hotel was a mixed experience. The absolute highlights were the exceptional cleanliness and outstanding service - both aspects deserve perfect scores as the staff went above and beyond, and the hotel's cleanliness standards were impeccable. However, there were significant drawbacks. The location was quite disappointing, a bit far from the station if you're coming by MRT. Similarly, the facilities were basic and left much to be desired, falling short of expectations for a comfortable stay.

Excellent location near many shops, eating places, grocery, Poya, McDonald, 7-11, Family Mart, 4 beauty shops and message parlors, pharmacy, Mos Burger, and a night market. Bus stop in front, MRT station 5 minutes walk. Friendly house keepers! Breakfast included. But could be better. Front Desk especially the English speaking friendly old men. So helpful! Always go out of his way to assist us. He is one of the reason our trip was memorable. The room is so clean and so big. The sleeping area is separated from the sitting area and the TV set, which added additional value to the experience. I love the furnitures, lovely! The beds are comfy and the air condition works wondetful! The bathroom is big with bathtub and amazing huge shower head! The toilet has a bidet! For shower, Just make sure to let the water run for 5 minutes for the it to get hot. I would stay again at Xinshe Hotel in my future trips to Taiwan. Actually, we extend our stay at Xinshe Hotel for another week. Provide daily free water, coffee, tea. and coco bags as well. Small refrigerator that we used for our drinks.

Had an outstanding few nights at Aloft Taipei Zhongshan, from the excellent service at the concierge to the vibrant and modern room, packed full with luxurious amenities. The MRT station is directly beside the hotel, making it extremely convenient to travel to landmarks around the city. The only fault would be that the swimming pool is ‘seasonal’ so it was not open to guests during our visit in May.

When I arrived to check in—well after the designated check-in time—I was disappointed to find that the room had not yet been cleaned from the previous guest. Even after I had to wait for the cleaning to be done, the cleaning was superficial at best, and a proper deep clean had not been done. This was not the level of cleanliness or attention to detail I expected. Would not recommend.

Stayed for 4 nights. Location is convenient, just right beside Starbucks & 7-11 and few steps away from metro station. Love the self service laundry at level 2. Breakfast selection is okay but nothing impressive. Only downside is that front desk & lobby staffs should be more attentive and proactive in assisting customers who have difficulty accessing the heavy main door, especially those with big/heavy luggage and parents who ferrying young kids with stroller. There are many occasions where I find it difficult to access the main door with baby stroller and heavy luggage but no one seems ready to help. Not a single time. Not sure if this is their common SOP. Other than that, it’s all good.
