I love the concept of the hostel. We choose the twin bedroom. Just a small space consist of just a twin (bunk)bed. Below they put a sofa that can be use as a bed as well. So another (third) person can sleep there. Wash basin, and shower is inside the room but toilet is outside. Communal toilets have bidets which is major love for us Malaysians. Complete enough amenities for a traveller like us that will always be outside anyway. There are pantry with hot water and fridge. But u have to bring ur own cups and utensils. There is one washing machine and one dryer upstairs that can be used before 10pm as to avoid disturbing sleeping guests. Other self service laundry available nearby. Recommend stay for people on the go.

My husband was on a business trip from Taichung to Taipei and booked a room temporarily. When he saw this room, he found it to be as clean and tidy as in the photo, with a large space and a favorable price. He was very satisfied and highly recommended. I would like to remind travelers who are going to check in to remember to scan the QR code at the door and add the customer service line before check-in. They will provide the most important check-in password!

The location is very convenient to MRT and a few Places of Interest in Taipei. If you can walk aprox 4-5km you can reach places like Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall, National Palace Museum, Lunghsan Temple and many more. In actual fact i walk all the way to Taipei 101.  The hostel provide adequate facilities and privacy. At the end of the day it's very much depending on your expectation.  It's my first visit to hostel, I think what you really need is just a pair of ear plug to sleep at night. And since we are sharing room with a few people, if smell is a concern you can always place air freshener near your bed.  If you intend to check in between 8pm to 10am, pls make sure you know how to enter the hotel, as there aren't any hotel staff there. You need to now how to press the number to come in. Or wait for other Guest to pass by before opening door for you. 

The problem is the disco noise. Since the 2xx floor is assigned first, Rm 260 and Rm 261 are near a mid-night bar and the disco music will be continuing until 03:00 a.m. Moreover, there is a partition door between Rm 260 and Rm 261. All the sounds are shared (u can see in my 1st few photos). DON'T FORGET: BRING TWO PAIRS OF EARPLUGS (just in case u lose 1 earplug!). As u can see the Smile sign in my photo, of course you could book the hotels near the Smile Comma because those are near XiMen. However, I think, the noise level around this area is not acceptable. (Nice to remind you again, the automatic assigning system of the machine near the Smile sign entrance, is realistically automatic. You cannot change to other rooms with better sound-proof location.) : )

This hotel offers the cheapest price for a solo tourist who likes to stay in a single room as always. Besides, the location is super convenient. It's right next to the taipei station. Toilet and shower are shared with other guests, but they are very clean. I will stay here next time when I visit Taipei. Thanks a lot

It's actually good and pretty much cheaper for a group of friends travelling together. Having a common area for the toilet and bath is okay, since it's being cleaned everyday, plus it gives us a lot of time travel compared to our other group of Friends booked with a nearby hotel with only 1 toilet and bathroom. FEEDBACK: It'll be better if they have a microwave and a fridge at their pantry area to at least help guests heat up something for snack specially during midnight

This is a good place to stay if you need to be very near to Taipei Main Station and Taoyuan Airport MRT, with the latter just less than 5 minutes to the ticketing and platform area. Few steps only from Y13 exit of Taipei City Mall underground, to get to the MRT exits Y16 and Y20 is easily reached on the opposite side below. Word of caution though, the hotel does not have any lifts which maybe troublesome for those with heavy luggage. However, once you reach the reception at level 2 via stairs at the main entrance, the rooms inside are relatively big enough at a low price compared to nearby hotels on this area. Safe locker and fridge is also provided with a sofa near the bed, though having a room with no windows means the dirt might accumulate on some of the corners. The amenities are at level 6 such as the laundry area and main breakfast/eating area. The breakfast included on this booking is good enough to start the day, consisting of dumplings, baos and bread with spreads. Vending machines for coffee and tea is present, and I appreciate the hotel’s initiative for us to self clean the utensils, plates and mugs after use. Housekeeping though is only done once unless requested. Instead of key card, actual keys are used to access the rooms. The card included is for the main entrance for use when arriving late at night. Overall I still experience a comfortable stay and might consider it again.

Pros: Great location in central Taipei. The bedding was clean. Price was good. There is a common room with kitchen in the basement. The lockers were good to put your bags away in securely. Check out time of 11.30am was more generous than most places. The water in the showers was a good temperature. Cons: The guy I got on the check in was curt to the point of rudeness. The toilet seat in the male dorm kept falling down, so you could stand peeing trying to hold it up or pee through the hole. Not ideal. Lots of mosquitoes in the basement. There are endless little signs telling you not to do certain things and that “violators” will be fined - this didn’t seem like the fun implied by the name “Fun Inn”. The toilets smelt like pee - quite possibly due to the aforementioned toilet seat issue.

It is a 2.5-star hotel if u wanna be sure. I do not recommend this hotel if u have some expectations for the place you stay. We were unlucky to get a room that has mouldy wall and malfunctioning air-condition sensor and a basin the drains water slow. Services are not available in the late evening and night? So, if anything occurs, then no help will be provided. On my side, I book the wrong room size 16m² for 4 adults and 2 big luggage, 1 medium, and 1 small. It was squeezy for us as we needed to pack for our last few days in taiwan. The only good thing is that it is located in ximending, where's lots of tourist's hotspots are at. But I definitely would not come here again.

This place is very clean! Easy to check in and out since it's self-service plus the room is surprisingly wide. We booked the double room and it's very good for couple even for 3pax. Though it's not sound proof but the cleanliness is what matters most. Additionally, the place is affordable and very accessible, if I'll visit taipei I'll stay here again. 😊
