citizenM Taipei North Gate

I recently stayed at CitizenM Taipei North Gate again, and the experience was just as enjoyable as before. The hotel is conveniently located only a 5–8 minute walk to Beimen MRT Station, about 8–15 minutes on foot to Taipei Main Station, and within 10 minutes’ walking distance to the lively Ximending District. Right across the street, in front of the post office, there are also multiple bus routes that take you directly to popular attractions such as Yangmingshan and Jiufen Old Street. Check-in/out • Check-in: 2:00 PM • Check-out: 11:00 AM (option to extend until 2:00 PM for NT$500) We stayed in a Double City View King Room. Although compact, the space is cleverly designed to be cozy yet functional. The floor-to-ceiling window provides a superb city view, with a built-in wardrobe and side table that makes storing travel items and documents convenient. The room is also well equipped with thoughtful amenities. There is a separate toilet and bathroom cubicle for added privacy, along with a hair dryer and a mini bar fridge. Universal sockets are available, and the entire room can be controlled via an in-room iPad, including the lights, air-conditioning, blinds, curtains, and TV. The Wi-Fi connection is fast and reliable, and the TV supports AirPlay and Chromecast, making it easy to cast Netflix or other streaming apps directly from your device. CitizenM Taipei North Gate strikes a great balance between modern design and convenience. Its prime location makes it ideal for both transport and city exploration, with Beimen, Taipei Main Station, and Ximending all within easy walking distance. I would highly recommend this hotel to solo travelers, business travelers, or couples.

Hotel was recommended by an acquaintance. Location was very good with easy access to MRT Beimen station and Taipei main station on walking distance. Check-in went very smoothly but the hallway was too dark so it was difficult to find/read my room number! Except that the room was good with sufficient space and nice bed/bath and most importantly, no noise could be heard from other rooms. Breakfast was nothing spectacular but no complaints either.

Great location and right next to Beimen station! Very easy to access via Airport Metro and within 10 mins walk back to the heart of Ximending. Rooms are having great view overlooking the crossroad junction too!
