Ulasan ILLUME TAIPEI

Our family had a wonderful six-day stay at Illume Taipei, and we couldn’t have asked for a more convenient location. The hotel is surrounded by multiple 7-Eleven and FamilyMart convenience stores, ensuring that snacks, essentials, and quick meals are always within reach. In fact, there’s even a 7-Eleven located inside the hotel itself, which adds to the overall convenience. For families traveling with young children, the accessibility to medical facilities is a major plus. A hospital is located nearby, and a pediatric clinic is just a two-minute walk away, providing peace of mind in case of any unexpected health concerns. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The thoughtful layout and cleanliness made it a welcoming space to return to after a long day of exploring the city. Overall, Illume Taipei offers a fantastic balance of comfort, convenience, and accessibility, making it an excellent choice for both families and travelers looking for a hassle-free stay. Highly recommended!

Spacious room, kept very clean and tidy. Location wise, well served by the train network.

The location of this hotel was very good. The room and bathrooms were very spacious and there’s lots of great shops nearby.

Super cool design and very convenient location there’s like 3 bus stops right next to the hotel. Metro can be a bit of a walk (maybe 5 mins) away but not too bad. It’s in a beautiful location right next to the Taipei Arena. Also there’s really good restaurants in walking distance.

We had 6 people total so had two rooms and one room was in the newly built part of the building and the other one was in the old building. Room in the new building is much cleaner and lights are brighter. Room in old building lights are much deemer and bathroom is too old. No bottle of water, they provide water dispencer in every floor. Worst soap I ever smelled in any of the hotels. The receptionist who checked us in was very unclear with her question because we had two rooms and originally booked one family room with one king bed and 2 single beds and other room with a king bed. She asked whether 2 beds are ok and I thought she meant for the king bed as she finished with a sentence saying the king bedroom needs to be checked in later. So when we went up to the family room, I see 2 beds instead of my original request, went down to ask why and she gave me an attitude saying “didnt I ask whether 2 beds are ok” I was actually shocked with the way she approached me, did not try to clarify in a nice manner. Sorry but never going back. The photo is for the room in new building. Even if the room (new building) is clean if the service is bad, I never want to go back.

Best price for king size bed

Perfect for a short biz trip. Never seen a better gym, fantastic for people who like to workout on their trip. Also the co working space is good.

Good location, clean and friendly staff

We stayed here for a couple of nights. It's a typhoon day in Taiwan, all shops are closed, super windy that day. No choice but nowhere to go. Front desks are very accommodating, since last minute I did a room, and a lot of cancel room thats why I was able to get one, due to the said typhoon. Big room, huge beds, and a sort of mini dining table. Basically, it's so spacious. Corridors are big, and the design of the hallway overlooking the dining area is nice. But better with good signs of the room designation, if not, you might get lost. The hotel is very convenient with a convenient store beside it. MRT, Arena, shopping mall is just right the corner. Recommend for next stay. 我们在这里住了几晚。刚好入住时台风天，所有商店都关门了，那天风超大，别无选择，无处可去，住能留在饭店。 前台小姐非常热情，因为我临时多订了一间房，而且有很多人取消了房间，所以我才能订到，因为台风，不然爆满刚好当天‘’大明星开演唱会‘’’ 房间很大，床也很大，还有一张迷你餐桌。基本上，房间很宽敞。走廊很大，设计也很好，但美中稍有不足，最好走廊能有好的房间指示牌，不然你可能会迷路。 酒店非常方便，旁边有便利店。捷运、Arena、购物中心就在拐角处。 总言，饭店不错，值得再来住。

A little slow in transporting our luggage to the hotel room. Bedsheet wasn’t very clean but then after informing they quickly change it.

Staffs are extremely helpful. The hotel offers a lot of facilities like swimming pool and bar. The location is good (near Taipei Arena). The only downside is the little stains on one of the towels and bedsheets. Other than that, things are ok.

The room is really spacious

My only criticism about the room I stayed in was the fact that the window side of that room was connected to the backside of some area that looked abandoned. Meaning you can open the window, climb through, and explore whatever that area was. I really didn't like that. My whole room was pretty much on display. It felt unsafe and creepy in a way that someone can just stand outside my window and look at the whole room if they could access that area. That room number is 677 (if I recall correctly).

The room was well-sized, allowing for plenty of movement and relaxation. The decor may feel a little dated, but it adds a unique character to the space. The amenities were adequate, and I appreciated the cleanliness throughout my stay. The location is also a plus, making it easy to explore the vibrant city of Taipei. Overall, if you're looking for a spacious room and don't mind an older aesthetic, ILLUME Taipei could be a great choice for your stay!
