Ulasan Guide Hotel Taipei Chongqing

We chose this hotel for our 2nights layover due to it's close proximity (350m, about 5mins walk) from Taipei Main Station and the price we paying. It's interior looks old and can't understand why it was semi-renovated. We booked the Superior Twin Room, kinda small no space to open your big luggages. The only Consultation was the big TV. The rest nothing much to expect. 3mins walk to Jiancheng market, 7mins walk to Ningxia Night Market.

We stayed for 6 nights in the deluxe twin room. Ameneties were very good. And bed very confortable. Cleaning service was okay, but no refills. In general was a ok place to visit Taipei. Although close to main station, is still 15 min to mrt.

Location very good very nice and polite staff clean hotel

The front desk staff is very rude and unfriendly. .During checked in, one of the staff was explaining the term & conditions, another staff cut in to put the passport beside. As a front desk service, staff should know passport is the very important document to all travellers. The aircon control unable to control the temperature. And the fridge made a lots noise caused restless sleep.

The room was clean and sufficient size. The common areas such as the lobby are not luxurious, but they are neither cramped nor depressing. The staff are not exactly friendly, but they do respond when you asked. I felt like they were acting like apartment managers. It's not too far from Taipei Main Station of the airport express line. It was also enjoyable to explore through the maze-like underground shopping area to get to Taipei Metro Station. Ningxia night market was within walking distanse, too.

Overall is good, value for money especially on Saturday, other hotel is very much different, I more higher then this hotel. This hotel price is very reasonal on Saturday.

The best of this hotel is the great location, walking distance to night food street, train station. Half hour Taoyuan airport by car
