Green Farmhouse

We stayed for a nearby family wedding and I can highlyrecommend the place.Carol the owner is very friendly and nothing was too much trouble Rooms are light and spacious with lots of charming features. Bed very comfy and enjoed an excellent sleep. Breakfast in the morning was tasty,plentiful and well cooked/presented Excellent value for money

I booked this and a meal at the nearby pub in walking distance, which is one of our favourites as a early birthday treat for my husband. Highly recommend very clean and comfertable room, Carol was so welcoming, nothing was to much trouble and everything needed was thought of. Breakfast was amazing, the best we have had. We are quite local but would definitely book again and 100% recommend.

Having seen such positive reviews I was concerned I was going to be disappointed as the bar had been set incredibly high. I needn’t have worried…from the welcome to the reception rooms, the bedrooms and then the spectacular breakfast, it was pure joy and comfort. To find such a quaint building is not particularly rare, but to couple this with the quality and warmth exuded by the hosts (ok - I only met Carole) along with a price hard to believe it goes without saying that I wish they were a chain so I could make more use of this exceptional business.

We recently stayed here for a wedding nearby. The room was lovely, very clean with excellent facilities. The breakfast was superb with a wide selection and the staff were all very pleasant and helpful who went above and beyond.

We hired out the whole farmhouse for a weekend for our wedding nearby. We essentially used it as a huge family house, and I can’t explain how absolutely brilliant it was. Carol was on hand the entire weekend and was so helpful - she was almost like part of the family! When the groomsmen left without their buttonholes she caught them before they left the site, when rooms needed turning round midday for photos it was done without even being spoken about, and when we arrived home at 12.30am on our wedding night she was waiting to make sure we didn’t need anything else and to put my bouquet in water!!! We even popped down to the Three Tuns (also owned by Carol) the evening before the wedding and everyone commented on how yummy the food was and how great the garden area was! Carol, a HUGE thank you from us and our families. You truely made our special day/weekend run so much smoother and we all loved your beautiful farmhouse. The girls are already talking about a return trip! A big thank you to all of your staff too! Thanks again for being a brilliant host xxx

Living in Lower Halstow it’s taken a while to find a good excuse to stay at our local Gem of a B&B but our wedding seemed like the perfect opportunity. We booked all the rooms out for 2 nights for our bridal party and I’m so glad we treated ourselves! Carol & Chris are wonderful hosts and made everything about our stay perfect. My wedding morning with the bridesmaids and Hair/make up artists was all accommodated, ran smoothly and Carol was even there to greet us and settled us in for drinks after our reception had finished locally that evening! The level of service really made our wedding weekend perfect and We cannot thank Carol & Chris enough. If you are getting married locally this is the place to stay! If you can find any other reason to simply treat yourself to some beautiful Kentish luxury then do it! We are currently cooking up our next excuse to come back and stay even when we only live round the corner!
