Palace Hotel - Half Board

STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL! I feel it is my duty to share my terrible experience at this hotel through this review on their website and on Tripadvisor. I want to warn other travelers so that they do not go through the same ordeal as I did. Our recent stay at this hotel was the worst hotel experience we have ever had, and it is crucial for me that others understand what they can expect. Upon arrival, we had high expectations and hoped for a pleasant and comfortable stay. Unfortunately, our hopes were shattered from the very beginning. Firstly, the cleanliness of the room was far below any acceptable standard. There was visible dust and dirt on the furniture, floor, and in the bathroom. The room gave an impression of poor maintenance and inadequate cleaning. It was not a welcoming atmosphere, and it was evident that cleanliness was neglected. Furthermore, the noise conditions in the room were completely unacceptable. The sound insulation was poor, and we could hear everything happening in the corridor and neighboring rooms. This disrupted our sleep and made our stay extremely uncomfortable. The air conditioning in the room was also a problem. It was either broken or made unbearable noise when turned on. We had no way to adjust the temperature according to our preferences, which made our stay even more uncomfortable. The small mini-fridge in the room did not function at all, and it was impossible to keep beverages or food cool as expected. When we first discovered all these issues, I immediately went to the reception to request a room change. Unfortunately, I was met with an extremely unhelpful receptionist who showed no interest in assisting us. On the contrary, we were met with indifference and poor customer service. Even after speaking with a person I assume was the hotel manager, an older woman with blond hair around 50-60 years old, we received no better treatment. This person displayed an even more unpleasant attitude and claimed that the problems were specific to our room only. She spoke in a highly unacceptable manner and showed no interest in rectifying the situation. After multiple attempts to seek help from the hotel staff, we ultimately decided to end our stay and move to another hotel. We were so dissatisfied with our experience at your hotel that we were willing to pay extra for a different place that could offer a better experience. I am writing this review to warn other travelers about the many issues we encountered here. This hotel did not meet our expectations, and we felt poorly treated throughout our stay. It is evident that the quality of service and cleaning at this hotel falls far below acceptable standards. My strong recommendation is to avoid staying at this hotel to prevent a ruined vacation experience. There are many other hotel options in the area that can offer a much better experience for travelers. Another holiday well spent! Hotel Palace has been our hotel of choice for a couple years now. The staff is amazing, food is delicious, rooms are always clean, and the location is superb!! What’s not to love about this place?! The outdoor garden/patio space is a beautiful place to sit and relax under some shade before hitting the beach. Don’t put any more thoughts to your travel plans; book this hotel! You won’t regret it.

Had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Rooms are comfortable, clean and equipped with everything you need on a holiday. There is a hairdryer, mini safe, shampoo and conditioner. We had a lovely apartment with a sea view. Food was delicious and alcohol was at a good price. Overall we had a great holiday and will be back again next year.

Loved my stay in the Place Hotel. Stayed half board great verity of food for breakfast and dinner. Staff so helpful they really go above and beyond. George kept asking if we are ok and did we need help with anything. Night time entertainment very enjoyable. We spent most nights in the hotel. Location is excellent. Short walk to centre lots of shops/bars and restaurants. Small shop in hotel has most things for your day to day needs. Rooms cleaned every day and towels changed. This hotel is across the rd from a magnificent beach. It has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. I'll be back

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, but it is in desperate need of some TLC, the swimming pool and surrounding area around the pool is awful. Broken tiles, dirty, I most definitely would not let a child swim in the baby pool😱 The opening times for the restaurant changed while we were there from eight till 10 am for breakfast to 8 to 9 am . This was too early to go to breakfast when you’re on holiday.. The dinner service changed from 630 to 9 pm to 6 pm to 7 pm, which was also too early to go for dinner for us. The food is very repetitive,But edible most of the time. The lady on reception was probably the most helpful person in the hotel. Our beds were made every day, and we were given clean towels, I cleaned and swept our room most days, it wasn’t done by the cleaners. The rooms are very small the beds were very comfortable.. all in all sunny beach, and this hotel are not for me .

As a family of nine, all adults, we have had the best holiday in Sunny Beach. HOTEL PALACE was the perfect hotel for our base. Across the road from the beach, we all had sea view balconies. Easy to walk to different areas or just took the little train if too hot lol. The hotel is so clean and food was delicious and always something to tempt you. Staff were lovely and friendly. Karaoke bar was a great night's entertainment. The location is also great if you are travelling alone and just want a lazy beach holiday as everything on your doorstep. Thank you to all the staff for making us welcome and looking after us.

This hotel is spotless, my room is basic but fine for a 3☆ Staff, I have found to be abrupt and disinterested in customer service. The food is poor with little choices, the menus are lacking in content. Especially meat or fish as it seems that its down to the bone on pricing! As a single professional lady who is easily actualy pleased food wise, I have just eaten out in the evening. That said Sunny Beach isn't the best of choices of dining experience. The resort is seriously in need of a revamp. Definitely will not be returning anytime soon.

First time staying at the Hotel palace we normally go all inclusive but for less money we got a extra week in the sun stones throw away from everything couldn’t go wrong food was great even for a picky eater’s we didn’t go hungry lol staff are great happy to help nothing was to much PLEASE remember that not all staff speak English but are quick to grab a staff member who can so just Be patient 👍🏻 all staff members work hard and long hours just remember this as we have heard some silly complaints HUGE THANK YOU to GiGi always there with her big smile 😊 and what can I say about the housekeepers especially ISI who’s English is not great but took time to teach me some Bulgarian blagodarya ti isi za tseliya smyakh ❤️ certainly will come back again THANK YOU 🙏
