"Title: A heartwarming, authentic Japanese home experience! Review:Although this guesthouse is a bit remote from the Sumoto Bus Center, the experience was absolutely worth it. The owner is an 84-year-old lady who provided us with incredible service. Even though she has some trouble walking, her passion for hosting is truly touching. The room was extremely large for two people—very comfortable. Unlike some other hotels, all amenities like toothbrushes, toothpaste, and towels were provided. What surprised us most was her generosity; she kindly offered us a free dinner even though we hadn't ordered a meal plan. Despite the language barrier, we communicated easily using Google Translate. She insisted on cleaning the room and changing the sheets (bed covers) every single day. We tried to tell her she didn't need to go to such trouble for us, but she insisted. It really felt like staying in a warm Japanese home. Highly recommended if you want genuine hospitality!"

"Stayed in a western room with ocean view. We were able to spend comfortably on the flooring floor. The bathroom was unit type, but there was no narrowness like a business hotel. We were able to take a comfortable bath. The double bed is large and the bed height is low. I was able to sleep well. The extra bed is convenient to use for luggage storage. Breakfast on the set menu is either nori or natto. The contents of the menu were normal, but the nutritional balance was considered and cooked, and it was delicious. Since I visited in winter, the BBQ facility was closed. I would like to revisit when the BBQ becomes delicious."

"The large hot spring, delicious food, and good service made for a very satisfying stay. I especially liked the hot springs at Yuhinkaku Tenkyu no Shizuku and Tanada no Yu. The baths had a sense of openness as you looked out at the sea, and the temperature was just right, so it felt like I was regaining my energy. The staff always greeted me as they worked, which was nice. I stayed for two days, but I would like to stay for multiple days again. Since I stayed on a weekday during the off-season, my room was upgraded. The view was great, and I was able to use the private study area freely, so I was able to spend my time comfortably. The facilities for relaxing, such as the drink bar and cigar bar, were also very high-quality and very comfortable. In particular, they are open until midnight, so you can enjoy a bath after a meal. There is a fish tank in the sea where you can fish, and the fish you catch can be cooked that evening. I would definitely like to do that next time. Since the hotels in the same group are adjacent to each other, they are connected by a corridor, so you can use the baths of all the hotels. I felt that it was a well-designed place that you won't get tired of. The interior of the lobby also had an atmosphere that gave off the feeling of living creatures such as carp, goldfish, and killifish, and it was clear that the property was well-maintained, making it feel like a high-quality lodging."

"We visited Awaji Island for a day trip. Since we'd come all this way, we decided to try the hotel's day-use hot spring plan, which requires advance booking. The package, including a Gyudon lunch and hot spring access, was 3520 yen. Lunch was served at the lounge on the first floor, next to the main public bath. Guests could use both the main public bath and the one in the annex, and towels were provided in the bathing area. The hotel features two hot spring sources. One, the 'Akayu' (Red Hot Water) cold mineral spring, was heated, free-flowing (kakenagashi), and chlorinated – and quite good, surprisingly. However, the other baths were heated, diluted, circulated, and chlorinated, largely losing the authentic feel of a natural onsen. Despite this, the ocean view from the open-air bath and the design of the 'Tana-da-no-yu' (terraced rice paddy bath) were excellent. A relaxation area was also available, making for a truly leisurely bathing experience."

"The hotel is located right by the sea, just a minute from the entrance to the beach. The room was spotless and clean, facing the ocean. Sitting by the window, sipping tea and chatting was so relaxing. I absolutely love this hotel and will definitely be back. The view from the hotel's open-air baths is also stunning. The men's and women's bathing areas swap locations daily, allowing for a different experience. Turning right after exiting the hotel is the Mikumayama trailhead. The castle tower at the summit is a must-see – a truly amazing experience you won't regret. The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming ❤️ and we felt right at home. 👍 Finally, I recommend trying the local specialty: Tamanegi (tama negi), which is incredibly sweet. 👍"

"The front desk staff showed us to our room and carried our luggage. I thought the service was really good. For dinner, we were shown to a private room, and each dish was carefully brought to us and explained to us. Maybe because I've gotten used to buffets recently, I was able to dine in a relaxed atmosphere (thanks so much to the guy who took care of us). We were very satisfied with both the bath and the bath at the hotel next door. It felt really good to enjoy the open-air bath while looking at the stars at night and the ocean in front in the morning. The room was clean and the toilet and washroom were easy to use. If I had to say one thing... the fish at breakfast was very thin and small, and I think I could have eaten rice if there had been some natto lol. I felt that there was not much breakfast compared to the amount of food served at dinner. But I'm glad I chose Awaji Yumesenkei. I had a great trip ＼(^o^)／"
