How can a hotel with no integrity operate legally? On 20 November 2024, I booked a 3-night stay at Casamax Suites (21–24 April 2025) and paid the full amount of SGD 420.66 on the same day. We arrived at Casamax Suites around 9 PM on 21 April 2025 and proceeded with our check-in. - After presenting our passports and booking confirmation at check-in, the front desk staff notified us that Trip.com had cancelled our reservation. - We were in shock - how could this be? I hadn't received any cancellation notice from Trip.com. To confirm, I double-checked all my booking details with the front desk staff (booking date, payment date, booking number, etc.). Yet the staff still insisted that Trip.com had canceled our reservation. - After such a long journey, we simply needed a resolution that would allow us to check in and get some rest. - The front desk staff demanded we pay €300 before they would allow us to check in for just one night. - Since it was already late, we reluctantly agreed to pay a €300 deposit to check in first, intending to resolve the issue with Trip.com in the morning. I then provided my credit card to the front desk for the deposit payment. - Surprisingly, the hotel refused credit card payments. The staff demanded €300 IN CASH ONLY. - I informed the staff that carrying €300 in cash was impossible since we'd already prepaid our full trip. - Despite our explanation, the staff refused to let us check in unless we handed over €300 in cash. The staff suggested using the ATM at the hotel entrance to withdraw cash with my credit card. - This CASH-ONLY DEMAND raises serious concerns. - We were appalled by the staff’s unprofessional conduct and baseless insistence on cash payment. I formally requested written verification of the alleged cancellation by Trip.com, presenting my payment receipt as proof of the valid booking. - Only after I challenged them did the staff relent, offering to check us in ‘as an exception’ without payment. - I escalated this issue to Trip.com the following day, and they explicitly stated that my reservation was never cancelled. - To avoid further disruption to our travels, we chose to temporarily defer the matter. Despite our decision to prioritize our trip, the hotel’s misconduct must be addressed to prevent future guests from similar experiences. Meanwhile, we strongly demand the hotel provide a reasonable explanation for what happened that night.

Had a really great time - hotel itself didn’t have much but being able take advantage of the facilities in the main hotel across the street was nice. Unfortunately the beach part was closed off due to construction and of course you’ll always get selfish people reserving pool chairs first thing in the morning so it was difficult to find a good spot unless you went right after breakfast

I'm sorry to hear about your experience at the hotel. Here's a revised version of your review reflecting your feedback: Disappointing Experience at this Hotel, Antalya I recently stayed at here, and unfortunately, my experience did not meet my expectations based on the information and images provided online. Here's a detailed review of my stay: Accommodation (3/5): The room at Spa Hotel was not as advertised. The hotel lacks the amenities shown in the images, such as a pool and beach access. Additionally, the room did not offer any outside views as depicted in the promotional photos. This discrepancy was disappointing and misleading. Service (3/5): While the staff was polite, the service did not fully compensate for the hotel's shortcomings. Check-in was efficient, but when I raised concerns about the discrepancies, the staff was unable to offer a satisfactory resolution. Facilities (3/5): The Hotel does not have the advertised pool and beach amenities. This was a major disappointment, especially since I chose the hotel based on these features. Overall Experience (3/5): My overall experience at this Hotel was disappointing and not reflective of the hotel's online portrayal. I would not choose to stay here again or recommend it to others seeking similar amenities.

I had a very enjoyable time at this hotel. It was very clean and private. The staff was friendly and hospitable and it is centrally located in the old town of Antalya. I would stay here again! I will definitely tell my friends to stay here if they have the chance.

The hotel located in nice location, but they had few small problems. 1) they didn’t had disposable toothbrushes, that’s a big disappointment 4 star hotel. 2) they don’t give water everyday. 3) the rooms a bit small and a bit loud at night. 4) the menu they should add english to it, because it’s a bit annoying to translate all the time. The only good thing is the beach is very nice.

Everything was OK, but i got breakfast included in my package, and breakfast time was 7.30 AM to 10.30 AM. we went 9.30 no bread there no cakes when I asked they said finished also most of Staff not understand English. One other thing bad, they put fizzy drinks into room but didn't mention its charge able but we we check out that guy on receptionist he doesn't speak properly English which i could not understand him then he said to me you need to pay that much money for drinks i thought those were free bit argument because of misunderstanding which they are doing wrong either they shouldn't put drinks into fridge or should tell to customers straightforward. I think this is the wrong idea to make money that way. Also, there's a spa that includes hotel booking like sauna steam room, swimming pool there's some guys from hotel they miss guides for massage centre and charges 1800 Turkish lira for massage that free things they includes their time to robbed the customer that's no nice aswell I suggest to everyone don't go to massage from them just wasting money no professional people.
