Service is good, food is good and nice big soft beds.
The only bad thing is that it is very far from the major town. You have to drive out for food. Once you buy your snacks and drinks in advance, then it will be all good.

TTamuThe private onsen service was terrible. Please do not get the private onsen. The receptionist in the onsen does not understand english. The receptionist also did not assist us. The time was also incorrect. We were supposed to have 8-9 and 9-10 slot. But ahe is so confused. And 9:30 they are already knocking our doors calling us to come out.
A totally bad experience in the private onsen.
The hotel is ok. Food is also good. The private onsen which was supposed to be the highlight of our tripā¦ became the worst. Total waste of money

ć®č / Sengokuhara Hisanoha) on 19 November 2025 and stayed for 2 nights while exploring Hakone. Located in the peaceful Sengokuhara area, the ryokan offers a quiet and relaxing escape surrounded by nature.
With only 8 rooms, the ryokan feels private, cosy, and calm. We stayed on the 2nd floor in Room 205, which had good space to comfortably accommodate 2 adults with 24-inch luggage. Every morning, we enjoyed a beautiful shimmering view of the autumn leaves, glowing under the morning sunlight ā a perfect start to the day.
Do note that the 2nd floor has no lift, only staircases. However, the staff were very helpful and assisted with carrying our luggage, which we truly appreciated.
Our room had a simple bathroom without a shower, but the ryokanās onsen on Level -1 was clean, soothing, and perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing.
Breakfast and dinner were included, and dinner offered a choice of shabu-shabu or sukiyaki. We tried both and loved them ā tender meat, fresh vegetables, and delicious, comforting flavours.
One of the most special highlights is the free-flow drink station with:

NNyxtManaged to get on the last boat ride across Lake Ashi and was there in time for the hotel shuttle pick up. It was pitch dark out around 5pm during Japan's autumn however the hotel lobby is cozy and inviting, one that is full of history. The friendly front desk handed me a key with a large wooden key chain, and I checked out the large room prior to my dinner timing. There's a door to partition the bedroom and toilet/entrance area which felt nice. Dinner was a set menu and one that was filling. There are ice machine dispenser at the male onsen level and female onsen was on the highest floor. There's a lift that brings you to right outside the spa so visitors won't have to walk across the lobby area in their yukatas. Onsen was clean and spacious, there's a shower area to clean up, a sauna, outdoor and indoor onsen. Dressing room area has all the amenities you need and the ice popsicle after onsen is a nice touch. Woke up the next morning to catch the sunrise and caught a nice view of golden rays spewing across Lake Ashi, the garden and the glorious Mount Fuji right from my room. 100% recommended staying at this hotel! Had a super filing Japanese breakfast and checked out to explore the rest of Hakone.

TTamuVery nice (and spacious - by tokyo standards) hotel!! We had a balcony view of the mountain and the golf course. I didn't read the description and was pleasantly surprised that there was an onsen (must pay 150 yen usage fee per person). It was a really nice onsen too. It was raining the day that we got there and it made the outdoor onsen just magical with the rain in the backdrop. However, they do not allow tattooed guests into the onsen so foreigners, please be aware. The room was nice and gave old timey feels. I appreciated the big, long couch too. One drawback was that there was no microwave in the whole building :( But overall, would come back. It's a 10 minute walk from the T Tozan bus (so you can get there pretty quickly from the Togendai bus/ropeway station. The Lawson is right there next to the bus stop too (we got to go while the Evangelion collab was going on). The hotel has a free shuttle bus to various locations too so I would inquire about those upon check-in since those have to be booked the day before, but if you have the Hakone free pass and don't mind walking, it's pretty accessible via the Tozan bus lines

LLekker BBIni adalah hotel pemandian air panas yang sangat besar. Sepatu tidak diperbolehkan di seluruh hotel. Hotel ini terletak di pegunungan, sekitar 15 menit berjalan kaki dari Stasiun Yumoto. Tersedia bus antar-jemput yang digunakan bersama oleh beberapa hotel pemandian air panas, tetapi biayanya 200 yen per orang, jarang beroperasi, dan tidak ada tempat untuk bagasi, sehingga agak melelahkan untuk menyeret koper naik turun tangga ke stasiun.
Restoran prasmanannya besar, dan ada antrean untuk sarapan dan makan malam. Pilihan makanannya beragam, dan kualitasnya rata-rata, tetapi cukup bagus untuk harganya.
Kamar-kamarnya besar dan bersih. Terdapat 5 atau 6 pemandian air panas dalam dan luar ruangan, keduanya sangat bagus.
Secara keseluruhan, jika Anda tidak keberatan dengan lokasi hotel yang sedikit menanjak dan terpencil, hotel ini menawarkan nilai yang sangat baik untuk uang Anda!
