TTamuConvenient to airport with good shuttle service. Food was good. Clean rooms. Prices are all over the place. Requested a room close to the elevator due to an injury but didn't get it until I got there. Would stay again.

TTamuI chose TRYP Miami Blue Lagoon mainly because it’s within walking distance to my office, and that alone made the stay extremely convenient. The location is one of the biggest advantages, there’s a Starbucks, Publix, Panda Express, and several other shops and restaurants just steps away, so grabbing coffee, groceries, or a quick meal is effortless.
The hotel itself is comfortable and well-kept. Rooms are clean, the area feels safe, and being near the airport without dealing with constant runway noise is a big plus. Check-in was smooth and overall service was good.
If you’re looking for a hotel that combines comfort with a very practical location for work and daily needs, TRYP Miami Blue Lagoon is a solid choice.

LLittle Prince 小王子I have booked this hotel for a friend who has stayed at the Recency several times before. This time it was the cheapest one in the airport area and very close to the airport. The rooms are quite big and reniovated. Itt provudes all the essentials of a stay like hair dryer, kleenex tissues, safe, desk and wardrobe.
He didn't have breakfast since it had to be paid extra.
There is also a cuban restaurant in walking distamce.
All in all good value for price. Definitely will choose thisbplace again.

I arrived at 7:00 AM and found no staff, no reception, and no check-in instructions. My wife and I had to wait outside until another guest happened to come out and let us in. Inside, I met someone who I thought was staff, but he was just another guest. He tried to help me contact the hotel, but no one — not even other guests — could reach the manager.
There is no real lobby, just a yard. I waited three hours outside until someone finally responded. Then I was told I couldn’t check in until 3:00 PM unless I paid $100 extra. That’s way more than most hotels charge for early check-in which is about 20$. I asked for a refund so I could leave — they refused.
With no choice, I left my luggage with the housekeeper (the only helpful person) and had to walk around the city with my wife for six hours before coming back.
When I finally checked in, I just got a text message with a door code — no person, no welcome. The room had lots of bugs, and both of us got bitten badly overnight. There were even cockroaches in the kitchen.
This is not a real hotel. It’s overpriced, poorly managed, and has no customer service. Avoid if you care about basic hospitality.

SSuzy 33Convenient location across the street to Bayside Park and Bayfront. Walking distance to Frost science museum. Hotel was very strict for check in time at 3pm or later. Not flexible at all. Front desk depending who he or she was, one was met he was rude. Other lady was nice. Small bathroom and the door was very heavy. Unfortunately the side street lights flashing all day long. Night time was hard to sleep.
