It is a 45-minute drive from Jinshanling Great Wall and a ten-minute drive from Muping City. It is recommended for family travel and vacation, but unfortunately did not experience the swimming pool. ~ Some guests are of poor quality, loud noise in the middle of the night, room staff prompts in place, 🙏

GGuest UserWe chose this place because there is only a couple of hostels in this area that takes non-Chinese visitors. The room is spacious and clean with a huge bed (it’s a hard mattress, not soft). Shower is a bit weak but enough for our cleaning need. A very short walk to the entrance which allowed us to view the sunrise. A huge menu to choose from for lunch and dinner - you can pre-order and let the host know when you want the food to be served. Free breakfast that was well-balanced and filling. Can drive you to Gubeikou Station to catch the train back to Beijing for a negotiable fee. Overall we had a great 2-night stay!

This is a whole suite with a yard, which can easily accommodate three families. The room is clean and hygienic, and the facilities are modern. There is a kitchen and three bathrooms, and a large yard filled with all kinds of fruits and vegetables (the boss is definitely an expert at growing vegetables!). It is only ten minutes' walk from the gate of Jinshanling Great Wall, which is very convenient. The boss and his family are very, very kind. Compared with the attached five-star Jinshanling Great Wall Hotel, the conditions are better and the price-performance ratio is super high.

TTommy ChawAt the beginning it is hard for me to choose even the review is positive, but when I arrive and check in, I totally change my view. The surrounding is cozy, the room are clean with no cigarette odour even they provide ash tray in the room (suggest owner take away the ash tray and put a notice smoke at provider smoking area out side the premises), toilet are bright and water pressure is good (but hope the owner can make a little bit changes for the wiring system of the water heater), the food is tasty and size are too big for solo traveller (suggest to owner set a
price for small size for not wasting food), the owner parents are friendly and always give the good service. At night, surrounding is quite and good to rest. it is a walking distance to Jing shang ling tourist center but if planning to do the sunrise walk the owner will provide a transfer service to the entrance at 330am. Overall it is a good choice to stay here.

ZZhaoyanlongThis farmhouse is right next to the entrance of the scenic spot. The location is very good. Climbing the Great Wall will save a lot of time. The boss himself is a photography enthusiast and has taken many photos of the Jinshanling Great Wall. When I asked him about the filming location of the Jinshanling Great Wall, he was very enthusiastic and told me that although the internal facilities in the room are relatively simple, they are very clean and the overall cost-effectiveness Still very high and worth recommending!

The room was very clean, the air conditioning and warm air were also very good, the boss was really enthusiastic, the photography technology was also very good, the homestay was full of photos of the Great Wall he took. The car was picked up and sent to the ticket gate, saving the cost of the shuttle bus. Next time I go to Jinshanling Great Wall, I will stay at his house.

DDaniela PagliucaThe hotel is close to Jinshanling Great Wall entrance so it's very convenient to stay one night and be able to see sunset and sunrise on the great Wall. Obviously there are not many connections with Beijing, just a bus running on weekends. The closest station is Gubeikou, about 30km away. They offered us a taxi but it was too expensive. Better to use didi app on your own. They have a restaurant inside the hotel so you can have lunch or dinner there.
The room was comfortable and clean with all toiletries and a balcony.

GGuest UserThe room was clean and tidy. I took a break one day and didn't go out, so it was quiet all day long. The family members all agreed that they had a good rest at night and the quality of their sleep was very high.
The boss's own restaurant serves delicious meals three times a day, with large portions, fresh food, and good quality at low prices. The big steamed buns are delicious, and there are also fried eggs, fried mushrooms, tofu soup, pimple soup... The lady boss grows green onions and cucumbers herself, and every dish is delicious.
The proprietress is beautiful and enthusiastic. We have elderly people and children. The proprietress takes good care of both the children and the elderly. The boss heard that we wanted to climb the Great Wall to watch the sunrise, so he drove us to the ticket office at 4 a.m. for both days of our stay. Thank you.
This trip to the Jinshanling Great Wall was very enjoyable, and I highly recommend Cuijia Xiaoyuan.
Forget taking photos at the B&B, post some beautiful views of the Great Wall!

GGary Ong Wei KiatAbsolutely loving this place! The vibes is totally awesome and a nice place to chill with lots of activities to do, though unfortunately we only had one night here as we only planned to hike Jin Shan Ling, but we will definitely be back for more next round!
Service and hospitality is top notch and absolutely grateful to have such a nice bunch of staff who were super friendly and warm. The hotel was near Jin Shan Ling (about 5 mins drive) and they even offered to drive and pick us to and fro the hotel and Jin Shan Ling. Within the hotel, they were concerned with us feeling cold so they ferried us to our room as our room was a few mins walk away, and fetched us from our room to the lobby when we wanted to hang out at their chill areas there which turned out to be really relaxing.
They served super sumptuous meals including a hot pot set which was great for winter and even offered us complimentary dishes as part of winter solstice.
One of the staff named Henry Zhang gave us a tour at their exhibition centre showing the various scenic areas in 四季山, 金山岭 and 北京城! We enjoyed the experience sharing from him and the explanation to the various attraction sites, appreciate the sweet gesture as he didn’t actually had to do that but he did so!
Room was absolutely great and spacious, extremely clean and comfortable with heaters inside the restrooms which was super nice. It was a good night rest for us.
Breakfast was their local dishes which was great too and super filling (buns, eggs, porridge, dough sticks, specialty cold dishes).
All in all, we had no complains from the time we checked in, super loved the experience and it definitely make us want to book another trip here again soon!

GGuest UserThe most cost-effective inn in Jinshanling Yinhe Ski Resort, it is cleaner and brighter than the inn in Dongyingzi Village, and closer than the county hotel (most hotels in the county are not as clean and comfortable as Yuxiu), and the boss is very nice. It's very convenient to eat. It's just on the first floor of the inn. There are stir-fries, griddles, and stews. The dishes are large, affordable, and delicious.
