Postmarc Hotel and Spa Suites

So this is a great location. Not too far from the ***** in South Lake Tahoe. They have incredible bathrooms in some of the rooms... HOWEVER... the place maybe updated but it is done very poorly. It is clean... but not super clean. The door to the shower was not put on right... tiles were not put in correctly.. and there were on wall fixtures missing as well. Look it is a place to stay... I would put this at a three star total place.

Beautiful place, great staff, bed was super duper comfortable and warm. Easy to locate, it could maybe use a game room.

Great room overall nice spa in room, nice bed and fireplace , really small tv and not all the lights in the room worked but it kinda helped set the mood lol

Location is good. Close to restaurants and ******s. Friendly staff, bed was comfortable, suite was clean. Met my expectations.

We booked two days but had to leave after one. No fault of the hotel. The staff was great and accommodating. The room was clean and nice but needs remodeled, there were old mounts on the wall, while removed and patched, hadn't been repainted, also had parts of the wall were paint had worn thru from chairs and tables being against it. Water pressure for the in-room spa was really low and took a very long time to fill, close to a hour I think. Definitely not what we expected for the price.

We had a wonderful stay. Staff was very friendly and room was cozy and clean.

First, the down sides. I did not find the mattress to be comfortable (kind of firm and springy). The bed and spa are a small step up from the rest of the room. That's fine, but they have a safety light so that people do not trip. Also there was another light in the room that I did not know how to turn off. I need darkness to sleep, so these things made it more difficult. Also I found the room to be quite noisy with machine sounds. I think the heating system, and maybe I was near a laundry? On the up side, it's a very reasonable price and the jacuzzi tub is nice. I also appreciated having a microwave, coffee, and small fridge in the room. I found it to be quite clean overall. The bedding was very clean, and the down comforter was luxurious and warm. It's close to Heavenly, the ******s, and restaurants and shops, so convenience is also good here.

This is my second stat at the Postmarc and overall it was a good stay. The room was very comfy and clean. The night staff who checked us in though was not friendly and honestly seemed "off". I had to pointedly tell him we were checking in, because he just silently stared at us as we waited at the counter. When he asked where I parked, and I told him just out front in the handicap space, he went into a long spill about how those spots are only for people who absolutely need it. I assured him we had a handicap placard. It felt very accusatory, just because a person doesn't appear handicapped, doesn't mean they aren't. It also doesn't give you a right to question them. Suffice to say I was not impressed with this member of the staff. Everyone else though was EXTREMELY nice and the stay was wonderful. I would still recommend this place.
