Nice rooms and a good walk-in shower, which is important for us. Short walk down the side road takes you to a wide beach, which has a beach bar/cafe and a few sunbeds. Very quiet and not really set up for lots of tourists in the South, which we also like. It's not really safe to swim, due to strong currents, but the hotel has a nice big pool, which never seemed overcrowded. As is often the case, the sunbeds around the pool get constantly reserved (very early). You can ask the pool guys to try to find more, but frankly there are not enough for the size of the complex. Lovely hotel staff, who are all very attentive to guests. There was a lovely cultural day to celebrate Republic Day during our visit but the other hotel entertainment is pretty dull sing-along stuff to recorded backing tracks. Very disappointing. All the evening catering is moved out around the pool twice a week, which makes a nice dining experience. Lovely local curries.
