I am at Club Mahindra Kandaghat to celebrate my 21st wedding anniversary with Shruti. Praveen is incharge of Hill top Barbeque and made my anniversary special by his warm hospitality & serving delicious food. My evening even was grand celebration. Chef Birbal also ensured food with right and balanced spices. Overall all staff is very nice.

It was a great experience ,I and my wife ,we were on Holiday at Club mahindra Kandaghat ,shimla from 14th to 15 March .We had planned this trip on occasion of our Martiage anniversary which falls on 14th March.Everything was awesome about the resort.The place,the room ,the food, the infrastructure and above all the nice and courtious staff.I would like to mention the names of Vikram Negi and Vishal Thakur who extended their courtesy beyond expectation. I mean Vishal's hospitality lasted even after leaving the resort.He made our day .Thanks to him and Vikram.Overall our experience was great and beyond expectations.Looking forward to visit again if possible in future.

The experience on reaching was horrible regarding meals. The food was almost finished and there was no one to look after the refill. The Food Manager (Mr Basant Pandey) whose name was written there was missing too. We immediately decided to chk out seeing the horrible state of management. Met the overall Manager Mr Ishan Sharma, who immediately took note of the situation , apologised and called Mr Basant Pandey and appraised him. Mr Pandey showed no regrets leave aside hope of atleast an apology to guest. Finally Mr Ishan Sharma ensured that the food is served in the room. Mr Ishan Sharma thereafter ensured that we had no discomfort thereon and he also not only shared by also responded immediately on his personal no. The food situation was better on rest of the days and the entire credit goes to Mr Ishan Sharma, the serving hosts namely Ms Simran, Mr Mandeep, Mr Vikram Ms Pratap Singh and the bar tender . Despite huge rush and load , these persons were always on their toes with a big smile irrespective of how few foolish spoke to them. Kudos to their service and patience. Even the chef came out all the time asking about taste, flavours and customisation (if needed). But Mr Basant Pandey , whose name is written in colours in the dining area was never seen to be present during breakfast, lunch and dinner time. The indoor activities are limited . Incase good no of people come they don’t have adequate seats, limited game options and even some are chargeable too. There is no pool in the property. You have to wit for 10-15 mts for cart to arrive to pic you up so keep that margin in time. The room was beautiful with balcony . The room was well clean but for 2 days no one picked up the used cutlery from outside the room despite staff moving around and despite CCTVs around. That was really bad and unhygienic ! The Cocktails were well made, reasonably priced and served with a smile. Overall it was a relaxing holiday with everything well organised and well serviced and for that the big credit goes to Mr Ishan Sharma (Manager) who settled us in good way. Infact He was always seen taking care of all customer needs and at one stage we even almost decided to take membership. However the behaviour and conduct of Mr Basant Pandey made us decide NOT TO OPT FOR CLUBE MAHENDRA MEMBERSHIP as we did not want to stuck for another 25 yrs under his failed care and services and would rather like to enjoy other resorts on that belt as well. One star deducted as a token of Thanks to non-regretful Manager Mr Basant Pandey

It was a wholesome experience filled with excitement and beautiful views and Simran and Mandeep provided awesome hospitality which has made our trip memorable The resort had awesome games and scenic views. There were a lot of things to keep us engaged in the resort. Overall the experience was awesome

This was our fist experience with club mahendra...and they have left us with memories that will be with us forever. The location...the weather...the facilities and especially the staff made our stay even better than we expected...this place has all the activities you require to spend the entire day in the resort itself...from the kids outdoor play area...indoor activities.. like karaoke...drawings...group activities..board games...table tennis... billiards.. PlayStation...hiking...zip lining...paint ball and even cricket. A special mention to Mr Mandeep and his team who went out of their way to make our stay extra extra special. You guys are doing a great job...and we can easily say it makes this place one of the best resorts in the country... Thank you and All the best..

I like the service of Mr Shivratan who served us well in the restaurant as chef, the food he prepared specially for us was just like mouth watering. Special thanks to Mr Parveen in the Ala Karte restaurant and thanks to Ms Arushi for non stop service at the restaurant dining. Thanks

Our stay at Kandaghat has always been a delightful one. But this time all the more. The Chef Shiv Ratan has put all his efforts in to curate dishes as we like them and he exceeded our expectations in each and every meal. He truly has some amazing culinary magic in his fingers to make each dish so delectable. We leave Kandaghat tomorrow. The flavour of all the dishes he made for us will linger on our palettes for a long time. Thanks Shiv. You were just amazing.

Mr. Ayush at the reception was the most unprofessional hotel staff I’ve ever dealt with. His attitude was shockingly bad — rude, arrogant, and completely indifferent to guest comfort. From the moment we walked in, he behaved like he was doing us a favor just by talking to us. He had zero hospitality sense — no welcome, no smile, no willingness to help. When we asked basic questions, he responded with irritation and sarcasm. It was as if guests were a problem, not a priority. His body language and tone were cold and condescending. There was no apology, no explanation, and no courtesy — just pure disrespect. If the management thinks this is acceptable behavior, they clearly don’t care about guest experience. A property may look premium, but with staff like this at the front desk, it becomes a complete disaster. I would strongly advise others to stay away from this place. No respect. No service. Just attitude.

All Style, No Substance – A Total Rip-Off This place thrives on appearances but fails miserably where it actually matters — service. The moment you enter, you’re hit with cold attitudes and a clear message: you’re just another wallet to empty. The front desk staff behaves as if they’re doing you a favor by acknowledging your presence. No warmth, no professionalism, just arrogance and irritation. Any request or question is met with blank stares or careless replies, like they couldn’t care less. And once you’re in, good luck escaping the nonstop add-on charges. Every little thing is priced sky-high, with no clarity or fairness. It’s like they’re waiting for you to check in just so they can start milking your money. Terrible vibe, terrible treatment, and zero value for what you pay. I regret booking this place and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a decent, respectful stay.

The food service was good and taste of the Dal and rice was very good. But, the restaurant staff Kartik was not accomodating at all. He caused very inconvenience for us. We had kids ***** and we had to walk a lot. On the contrary, Praveen was very polite and humble and made it to appropriate experience.
