We arrived quite late in the dark – worried about finding it along the way, but Google Maps was incredibly helpful, providing accurate directions throughout the small village. After checking in, I asked if they had anything to eat, and the owner told me to wait a moment. Half an hour later, he prepared a sumptuous dinner in the courtyard, along with a bottle of beer… This was the most satisfying meal I'd had since arriving in Turkey. "The only things we enjoyed about this place were the spaciousness of the suite and its proximity to the national park. However, considering that we paid $275 per night, I was very disappointed by several issues: Strong sewage smell: As soon as we entered the suite, there was a strong sewage smell. We had to keep all of the bathroom doors closed to try to prevent the smell from spreading, but even that was not enough. It appears that the building has a sewage problem. When we contacted the front office, they offered to provide us with air fresheners to mask the smell. Unfortunately, air fresheners are not a solution to a sewage problem. Poor-quality kitchen equipment: Although the kitchen was equipped with appliances and cooking utensils, the quality was very disappointing. All of the pots and pans were Teflon-coated and heavily scratched, so we did not feel comfortable using them. The coffee maker was made of plastic, which was particularly disappointing for us as Turkish coffee drinkers. I would not want to boil coffee in a plastic coffee maker. Even the cooking utensils were plastic and felt very cheap. Overall, the kitchen items were noticeably low quality. I have had much better experiences at places that cost significantly less. Misleading impression about beach access: The booking information gives the impression that the property is close to a beach where guests can swim. However, there is no actual beach accessible through the property unless you are willing to pay an additional fee to use the beach club in front, which does not belong to Artan Suites. The small area left for public swimming is extremely limited and, in my opinion, not what most people would consider a proper beach. Overall, while the suite was spacious and the location near the national park was convenient, the sewage odor, poor-quality kitchen equipment, and misleading impression about beach access made the experience disappointing, especially given the $275-per-night price."
