Good. Location is close to train/bus station. 3 mins walk. Booking contains breakfast.

Ideal for budget travellers,but not very clean as found crumbs on the floor and not very sanitary toliets

We had a bad night at Aris. We were bitten by bedbugs and had to leave the hotel in a rush. We did not get breakfast and we did not intend to go there again but our next booking was not cancelled. Very bad experience. We will take this mater further.

We only had one day in Sofia. We arrived by bus and the hotel was a very easy 10 minute walk from the bus station. It is also very close to the city center by metro.

Zero distance from the bus station, about 15 minutes to Sophia Church. There is no one at the front desk after 6 o'clock, so you need to ask for the access code in advance.

Hotel with super facilities

I have just returned from this hotel. Glad I only had to stay 2 nights. It was not a very nice place and it’s dirty. reception seemed clean but once you get to your room it’s a different matter. Floors were lifting, all sealant in bathroom was black and mouldy, mould on the ceiling, radiator was broken, cigarette burns on the desk, a false nail on the floor in bathroom, the list is endless.…when I checked in we just dropped our bags off and went out for food, when we returned someone had used the bathroom and left the shampoo bottle on the floor in the shower so I went to speak to the lady on reception and she just laughed it off, but I know 100% it wasn’t there when I left…she was constantly on her mobile phone and wasn’t interested in what you had to say. I would definitely not recommend this hotel as in my opinion it is quite disgusting

Almost bad in everything: room dirty, beds to be made, towels not replaced, shower with plenty of water after 2 minutes of shower, room cold as aur condicioned not working, windows without caulking in conditions. Only one thing good which is localization.

very dirty room dirty stairs I was there again a year ago it was clean and the girl at the reception she was very polite and smiling but this time it was another girl, she was not fair and it was really dirty I am very disappointed don't go there there was toothpaste everywhere the light was too low to show how dirty it was I think everything was dust hoover hasn't been done for maybe a year but they have a nice location and a nice terrace which was also dirty from outside the hotel is very nice but inside new staff is needed and full repair

I don’t like to do this types of critiques but the hotel, at least our room isn’t like the photos and more, the room it’s not clean, the beds aren’t made, the paper toilet it’s not replaced, it’s impossible to take two baths in a row because The shower was clogged and after several requests it remained the same. The people are not nice …

The hotel is in the back streets of Sofia at least 45 mins walk to the city centre so not in the centre as the advertising suggests. The staff are about as interested as a dead fish. Room was ok , bathroom when you took a shower (which was great and powerful ) leaked all over the bathroom. Tv didn’t work and when we spoke to reception we were told I’m not an engineer. Breakfast was a very poor quality, there was no juice from the Monday to Friday. No milk on 3 of the days. So all in all I would not recommend or return.

This is far from a quality hotel. The staff are totally uninterested in you. The greating is non existence. Rooms are small old and in need of a complete make over. At best this is 1* star hotel. Breakfast is very very basic. Area and location is not recommended

I wouldn’t book here again. Two nights was more than enough for me. The hotel is dated. The pictures on the website and tripadvisor are a decade old. There are no facilities in the room to make a hot drink but I was furnished with three dirty glasses that looked liked they’d be there since they first opened. There was a mini fridge and to my surprise, it worked. The door to the shower was broken so the tiled bathroom was soaking wet each time I had a shower. There is no slip mat provided. The shower was unable to drain effectively creating a paddling pool - images included - I dread to think of what was clogging it up. Some toiletries were provided so I suppose that’s something. I had a tv but no remote. Wifi was switched at 11:30…WHY? Why would a hotel do this? The lift is on its last legs so you take your chances there. I generally took the stairs unless I was emboldened enough by alcohol to take the risk. I went down for breakfast one day. Took one look at it and decided to eat out. The hallways have a very peculiar aroma. Like someone has tried to clean something with a dirty cloth. I encountered three members of staff. 2 were as miserable as sin, the other seemed to have some idea of what it takes to work in hospitality.

Avoid! Before the pandemic we stayed at this hotel, now two years after our last visit we had unpleasant surprises. The hotel has two buildings located almost face to face on the same street. We booked on booking an apartment. We called for confirmation and also to ask if the parking space is reserved, knowing the appetite of our southern neighbors for a little tricks. They confirmed the room and the parking space. We arrived at the location, a "polite" young Bulgarian appeared at the parking barrier and asked us for 10 euros to park, and if possible to pay "cash". Parking on the street is also for a fee, 1 euro per hour but a maximum of 3 hours for parking. At the reception another unpleasant surprise, they offered us a double room, instead of an apartment, at the same price but with breakfast included. We went up to look at the room and found that they had a fan instead of air conditioning! I canceled and left the location. People were being stolen!
