"The studios are right across the street from the sea and there is a nice view of the bay from the rooms. The street though is quite noisy well into the evening. So its a balance. Room was nice spacy and clean - the kitchen utensils not so much. Very nice service, nice people."

"Positive points: A super location, family running small 1star hotel, traditional breakfast with Greek yogurt. Negative points: 1. Changed towels only once during 7 days stay, I requested cleaning service only on Thursday and Saturday but the cleaned towels were just given on Friday. The owner told me this is not 4 or 5 stars hotel( We travelled a lot at least 3 times per year, this is the 1st time live in hotel under 3 stars, no idea how it works) 2. The shower head can’t be hanged properly, did tell the owner but wasn’t fixed then we had to use string to hold it for 7 days. paid £74 British pounds per night, I thought it is cheap for the location in Skiathos town, so we got what we paid: broken bathroom window net, tiny strange layout of bathroom- when taking a shower you get everything wet; loud creaking noise of bed frame whenever you change position; hard springs mattress not comfortable ; you are not allowed to adjust the air-conditioner temperature, it will be always 26 degree, cold in one room and hot in other room, couldn’t sleep well; TV isn’t working, be aware of no kettle in this hotel, hair dryer is tiny and it took ages to dry hair (if you have long and thick hair) 3. Room 202, Not quiet room, often hear the very loud noise of door slamming and banging, there are kids screaming and running noise from earlier morning. 4. The owner lives in the top floor, I only requested cleaning 2 times Thursday and Saturday during 7 days stay, but Sometimes the owner entered our room and left windows opened without us knowing, there are a lot of mosquitoes that came in when the door and windows were opened, we have been bitten all over, even though we bought 3 bottles of flyers killer spray, all are wasted.( there isn’t “no disturb sign hanger” in this hotel) you have to bear in mind the owner can come in the room sometimes when you are away. 5. The hotel policy “ don’t leave the card “ for electricity when you leave the room. Otherwise you must be told off if you forgot twice, first time I was told off when we went downstairs for breakfast for just 15mins on the 1st morning. 6. Then we were told off again when we went to have quick dinner and forgot card in for 1 hour between 8-9pm on 3rd night. The owner asked me “WHY? WHY?…You left key card? No one did it and only you! …“ we have paid to live in hotel not students home stay ! We always took card when we went out day time. We felt like we were spied on for every moment, didnt feel comfortable since that night. it doesn’t matter how many stars the hotel is, We need to be treated with the respect. 10. Check in issue- you must check in as soon as your flight arrives, we checked in at 7:30pm because our flight landed at 4:30pm, we told her that we went plane spotting and had something to eat because we had no time to eat during the flight, but she said “ you need come hotel first then do other things because I’m waiting for you!” 11. There was no option for me to change hotel at the peak season "

Niso Skiathos

"My husband and I booked to stay at Niso Skiathos (a wonderful and professionally run family business) for a week in September and we were having so much fun we extended for another week! Niso Skiathos is hands down the place to stay at if you are planning to visit Skiathos. Walking distance to all restaurants, supermarket, the shopping areas, tourist attractions and the port. You can hire a car and bikes from the hotel at a very good price but we just used the bus. The bus stop is just a five minute walk from the hotel, if that! Now, as far as the Niso Skiathos goes. AMAZING!!! From the wonderful owners (Eleni and Dimitris) to the amazing staff we met (Panagiotis, Frida and Lira). They couldn't do enough for us. Always there if you needed anything and recommendations on beaches, restaurants and areas to visit. Ask them anything they'll help. I was looking for a specific glass for my friend, which I couldn't find in any shop and Eleni found one for me. Just brilliant service all round!!! As for cleanliness. Unbelievable! You can eat off the floors they are so clean. Every day they change your bedding and towels and the floors are spotless!! You also get a basket full of goodies, a bottle of large water, teas and coffee capsules every day. Yes, the basket gets refilled each day. Seriously, just ask them anything. They go way and beyond. When we next come to Skiathos, we are definitely staying here again. Thank you Eleni and everyone for making our holiday so wonderful, fun, restful and amazing. Polla Filakia Paul & Katerina"

"Really nice place - with great accomodation - Linen/towels changed every two days - very clean and quiet Rooms are decent size with fridge/ cooking equipment and safe Unfortunately we had a problem with the swimming pool for the second week. The first week the pool was crystal clear and very good- no one else using it so it felt like we were in a private garden. Overnight after a storm the pool turned green and murky. Depsite pointing this out to the reception nothing was done to sort this problem out for the last week of our visit so we had no pool at all. We did receive some refund but that is not the point. On a hot day you need the pool. I guess as it was comong up to end of season that they were just not going to bother to do anything about it"

"Wonderful place, owner present, available and hospitable. Simple room but with attention to detail. Excellent cleanliness. View from the terrace on the sea phenomenal! Possibility to eat in the room given the presence of everything necessary. Excellent value for money! And finally beautiful garden, also with attention to detail! Excellent value for money!"

"Stunning location- The hotel hosted my daughter’s wedding, & Oh My did they deliver. We’ve Travelled to Skiathos for many years , this has been by far the best hotel, If you’re considering a wedding reception here & have reservations / uncertainty think again . Absolute perfection from the moment we stepped in the door . The setting was stunning, the food was outstanding. The chef even went to the trouble of making a beautiful cake to suit , as my daughter had multiple allergies . The rooms were superb, cleaned daily fresh towels / sheets . Now for the staff - Anna ( hotel manager I think) an absolute credit to the team . The loveliest welcome on arrival, she could not do enough for you , she worked tirelessly to ensure your stay went smoothly & her team were terrific. Alexandra , Harris, Christos, Evie & Pantelis. If you’re debating whether to book a stay here … just do it . It’s the best stay / team in Skiathos"

"Good hotel, perfectly positioned, you are practically in the center of Skiathos, a pleasant walk and in 5 minutes you are at the port. The only flaw is the breakfast which is always the same and for us who eat an unsalted breakfast there was almost nothing. For the rest everything is ok, I change towels every 2 days but they make up your room every day. The owner very kind."

"Have just returned from a lovely holiday staying at Skiathos Living. We had a very clean, 2 floored apartment. The staff are very friendly and helpful and provide a delicious breakfast, brought to the room each morning. The pool area is peaceful with a wonderful view of the town and sea. Great central location. One thing to note is that the hotel is up some steep steps but so is most of the accommodation in Skiathos so something to note if you have mobility issues and are thinking of visiting the island. Would recommend this hotel."
