"Excellent location close to the center, yet away from the hustle and bustle, with a designated parking lot (there are escalators to get there), a Carrefour across the street, and several shops within walking distance. The rooms are named after aromatic herbs and decorated in the same colors as the plants. Ours was "Sage"—large, with a spacious wardrobe, a comfortable bed, a kettle, a large TV, and quiet air conditioning. Excellent sleep quality, thanks in part to the quiet and darkness with curtains. Spacious bathroom, spacious shower, excellent complimentary toiletries! Impeccably clean. A complete sweet and savory breakfast. Thanks to Roberto, who, in addition to his friendliness and helpfulness, shared with us lesser-known aspects of Siena and recommended special places and events. Highly recommended!"

"It happened by chance - given that the hotel I usually go to was fully booked - I stopped even on the night of August. Cramped room with very noisy air conditioning and a view of the revenue agency car park. Bathroom to be "reviewed" with serious maintenance. At 5.00 in the morning a group of tourists from the east made a crazy mess: laughter, screams, shouts, doors slammed. Nobody intervened. The sarabande continued undisturbed for over half an hour. Just enough time to fall back asleep and the rhythmic sound of an alarm inside the hotel starts. Here too, no intervention for several minutes. For 90 euros (100 with breakfast) you would expect a decent bathroom and the possibility of sleeping. None of this was granted to me"

Free on-site parking was a great bonus, and the city center was about a 30-minute walk away. We also took a taxi, which cost us €13. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to others!"

"The hotel itself is beautiful, with a very comfortable and scenic terrace. The breakfast, while not extensive, was delicious, and the staff were very friendly and professional. The rooms are charmingly retro-styled, but be aware that basic room types vary greatly in size. The room I was initially assigned was completely different from the pictures; the size difference was visibly noticeable. The first room's bathroom had no window at all, and the one I was later assigned only had a tiny ventilation window. I recommend paying according to room size; otherwise, the difference between the picture and the actual room is significant, resulting in a very poor experience."

"You must notify the B and B before arrival but after that the process is easy and the staff attentive. The property is located a few minutes from the main campo and the Duomo. It was comfortable and the area was also nice although all of Siena is equally beautiful. A good place to stay and we would recommend staying a night in Siena as most people some to come as tour groups."

"Antica Residenza Cicogna was an ideal location for being central to places of sight-seeing interest in Siena. The facilities were beautiful. We stayed there three nights. Unfortunately there was a misunderstanding concerning our room choice so ended up with a small economy room. The buffet breakfast was exceptional and the suggestions for restaurants for dinner were very good. The staff was friendly and helpful with taking our luggage up to our room on arrival and down from our room for departure. They called a taxi for us when we were ready to leave. Thank you staff at Antica Residenza Cicogna!"
