Hampton Inn Sidney

My stay at this hotel was a great Stay! Breakfast was good and the staff was nice. Checked into this hotel last minute to visit a client in the area. Front desk lady was very nice and her name is Sunny I think? I will come back to this hotel in the future.

Stayed 2 nights for funeral. Room was clean. Bed was clean, comfortable. Had nice pillows. I called down to get an extra blanket. The night desk guy brought it right up, well should say he brought two in case we needed it. I placed the second one in the top of the closet, like the guy asked if we did not need it to do .

First thing we found when we got to the room was a dirty towel in the bathroom. TV did not work, and even though the button on the tv did not turn it on, their response was let's change the batteries on the remote. Maintenance won't be there until morning. Terrible squealing in the heater. Toilet did not flush right. Worst Hampton I have ever stayed at.

I am not sure why this hotel gets such mediocre to poor reviews. I was hesitant to stay here because of them but since the lesser hotels in Sidney get even worse reviews I settled on the Hampton. My stay was excellent! The room was clean and pleasing — did not seem “tired” at all as reported by another guest. The amenities were nice, the front desk helpful and polite, and the breakfast the usual hotel fare. I have to say I LOVE the digital check-in/checkout and particularly the digital keys! It was raining when I arrived so it was fantastic to park near a door, check-in from my phone and then be able to gain access to the auxiliary doors. Likewise, I checked out from my car. I also liked that I could choose my room when booking my reservation. The Hilton app worked wonderfully in all aspects. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it.

I’m not sure why this hotel gets some mediocre reviews. After pouring over hotel reviews in Sidney and seeing most got “don’t ever stay here” reviews I finally opted for the Hampton. I requested an early check in and my room was ready nearly an hour before that. It was clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was a nice size and the shower, though not extraordinary, was nice enough to satisfy. The front desk was very nice and the breakfast was the usual hotel fare. I love the digital key access for super easy check in and checkout. I would absolutely recommend this hotel for your stay.

Overall my stay was very good. Check in was super easy with the hilton app, I never even saw anyone who worked at the hotel. The door to my room i noticed right away didnt close all the way unless pushed really hard. The door inside that lead to the adjoining room was left unlocked which made me a little nervous upon entering, I locked it and no problem. Now for the bad part, it was loud, slamming doors all night long, probably because their doors wouldnt shut all the way either. Just bring ear plugs. The room was pretty clean, no major complaints, just really outdated and in need of some repairs.

Check in took an hour and a half. Too much money also. Bathtub is very slippery. Will not come back.

Lost our key & staff was very gracious & helpful. Interior is old & tired and needs a facelift, pool has been closed for several months, one of the elevators was out of order. Overpriced for the quality of the stay when comparing with friends who stayed at 2 new hotels in town.

Found boxers at the end of my bed under the sheets so my bed was not clean
