Hilton Sibiu

"This review is for the spa only, we didn't stay at the hotel but rather bought a day pass to use the spa. Online the hours are posted as 2 - 9 PM, over the phone 10 - 9 PM. Over the phone we were told we could book services after 1:30 PM. When we got there I was given a menu of services to choose from. I started looking at facials and the lady said there are no facials available. I started looking at massages and she said only one type is available (head, shoulders). Why didn't they say anything on the phone about not being able to provide service? Why even hand me the menu? Two rooms were out of service (infrared and steam room). The women's bathroom didn't have any toilet paper. We were told there were no more towels (they are in the laundry) and that in 10 minutes they will bring us some. They brought a robe as a towel substitute? Ummm OK. There is a sign on the changing room door that says "let us know if you are in need of personal items" so I asked for lotion. No lotion was available. At no point did the lady smile or apologize for lacking any of the items. I was understanding at first but as the afternoon went on, I felt frustrated with the cost of the day while not providing the promised service. Life happens but also they should have charged us half off. That was a ridiculous amount of money for what this spa had to offer."

Best Western Silva Hotel

"My stay at this hotel was excellent from start to finish. The reception was courteous, the room well furnished, large and airy, my need for restful sleep was met in full by its very quiet location at the edge of a public park (if Sibiu airport becomes busier, sleep may not remain so peaceful as aircraft fly right over the hotel on approach), the breakfast was totally adequate and the restaurant serves some delicious food. I give it 10 from 10 for value for money."

"Right next to the old town and the main square. Pretty good for location. Clean hotel as well. Parking on the street for 10 lei a day, you have to find a spot on your own though."

"This was our second visit to Sibiu and this hotel which remains our firm favourite. Classic Old World style hotel rooms set in a beautiful building and no compromise on comfort. Super breakfast and cannot be beaten on location with some lovely bars and restaurants nearby."

"The location is very convenient, right next to tourist attractions and with easy parking! I'm quite conservative and just can't accept having realistic nude portraits hanging in the room; I just can't appreciate it! It's kind of scary to see a naked person standing by the bed late at night when I go to the bathroom!"

Craft Inn - Boutique Hotel

"A great hotel! Typically boutique, it really stands out from most of the others on my trip in Blugaria and Romania. It's new, modern, rooms are spacious, working airco and other facilities througout, friendly staff. Good breakfast. I really can't think of any negative aspects. Hence the top rating. (To my surprise.)"
