Ulasan Holiday Inn Shreveport Downtown

The room has an extremely noisy air conditioner. The reception front counter seems to take 25 dollar deposit but there’s no receipt to indicate amount to be refunded when checking out. And I was just informed that return deposit will be informed by email but there was no email. Just unprofessional.

In my 2 day stay we had to switch rooms because the bathroom was not very clean or maybe it was because of the oldness of a hotel. The toilet stopped up after one use. The television sound was as if you were listening thru a transitor radio. The next rooms tv had no sound at all. I have stayed there before, less than a year ago and don't recall it being that run down. Oh and may I say the parking was tight.

Good hotel, friendly front desk associates,near all of the casinos, bed very comfortable.

Worst experience of our life we went on a family trip to Shreveport and as soon as we booked the hotel we were about 25 min max away. It was way past 4:30 and our room was still not ready. We tried canceling it so that we could go across the street and  immediately their attitude changed they became very Angry when we asked if we could cancel. When we got assigned to our room we got a single bed for two kids two adults and two older kids they lied and said we had eight people and it was only six of us we’ve done this many times gone to hotels where we ran out a suite and there is a bed and a couch and everybody sleeps perfectly fine. They claim we smell like ********* and we had 4 kids with us… his staff smell like ********* his hallway smell like ********* the hotel smelled old nasty and moldy. I went and asked if I could get corporate’s number and he yelled at me and said he was the owner a big big man sitting in the front acting like he’s the owner and saying he was not going to refund us and he was going to have us kicked out, mind you we lost $200.57 I third-party company couldn’t do anything for us in the hotel we’re not l refund us at all. He claimed we had eight kids and that we broke policy rules. We did not even get to stay the night. The hotel owner acted very rude I’ve worked at a Holiday Inn for years and never got treated this way. Dead roaches were in the suite that they booked us in. Front desk had nasty crumbs from food and bugs dead all over the place. Thank you Shreveport for the good stay. I would never in my life again book in the Holiday Inn in Shreveport. Worst experience and mistake and waste of money.

The bed was very uncomfortable. The blinds were broke so there was no privacy. The room smelled funny. The tub wouldn’t drain while in the shower.

This holiday inn was older than I thought at least what the picture shows..plus we didn’t get any sleep because of the train that ran all day and night. We will never stay here again

Parking was an absolute mess and there were drunk people stumbling all around the hotel and in the hotel as well

We checked in and went up to our room on the 5th floor. My husband went into the bathroom and the door locked on him and he couldn’t get out, he has to keep jerking on the knob. I called the front door to let them know that he was stuck in theee and they may need to replace it so no one else gets locked in. When we went to lay down that night we pulled down the sheets and there was streaks on the linens and all of the pillows smelled like body odor. We went to the store to get Lysol spray to spray the pillows and sheets and they had a horrible smell. We are not ones to complain but we will not be back especially when the prices for the room was over $130 for what we felt the room was not worth.

Checking in was good. The room you can tell they don’t clean very well. The bed was comfortable but very thin walls. Location was convenient however if you don’t want to hear trains all night do not book here and also they fell to let you know the deposit takes 3-5 business days before getting back on your card but when we checked in the lady stated it goes back after check out

Everything seemed good into waking up on the morning and a roach was breaking on the dresser!

The hotel was run down. Not up to date. First room was a torture on our bodies. I dont know what kind of mattress was in room 102. Both my wife and i had pain from our neck to our legs. The noise from the trains went on all night. We counted the box cars. That was a terrible stay for the money we spent. We will not book at that Holiday Inn again.

Beautiful layout within the building. It felt very luxurious for a low price. Was thoroughly impressed with the property.

Mgr was so hateful. Rooms were gross and felt unsafe. Very loud and doors slamming all through night.
