Ulasan Mizu No Kaori

Such a great find! Calming ryokan in a peaceful part of the mountain. Staff were all super friendly and accommodating of us as tourists who didn’t speak Japanese. Every meal was delicious and the staff took time to tell us what each little dish was and even gave us some extra mini dishes to help us try different things. They were all delicious! The onsens were also very relaxing and had everything you could need. My boyfriend and I booked the private onsen our last night and looking out over the mountain at night when it was raining was a great experience. We got the Japanese style room and it was very spacious and the tatami floors were very comfortable. View over the mountains was also terrific. The ryokan shuttle took us to the nearest two train stations (Gora or Sounzan) in the morning when we requested and picked us up at the end of the day so it was very convenient getting to the ryokan even without a car. Highly recommend this stay!!

This hot spring inn is about a 15-minute walk from Sounzan Station on the cable car line. There is a steep slope on the way there, so if you have concerns about your legs, I recommend asking the inn for a free shuttle to Gora Station. The inn is a little old, but it is kept clean. Both the food and the hot springs exceeded my expectations, so I was very satisfied.

The ryokan is not far from the Sonzan ropeway station, about 10 minutes on foot. If you agree in advance, they can meet you by car for free, and also take you to the station when you leave. The public onsen is so-so, I recommend taking a private one for 2000 yen for 45 minutes. It is outdoors and has more atmosphere. I liked the kaiseki, the breakfast is also in Japanese style. In general, the atmosphere is simple.

Ruixiang is really good. It is a very traditional Japanese hot spring hotel with a sense of age. Although it has a sense of age, it is very clean and has a high overall quality. Several Japanese aunts are very cute and keep the hotel in order. The boss is very good and patient and helped me a lot. The location of the hotel is very secluded and surrounded by forests, but the hotel shuttle bus is very good and responsive. Such a clean and humane hotel makes me feel very good as the first stop of this trip. The meals are very attentive and every meal has a variety. For the entire Hakone hot spring hotel, this price is very cost-effective. Friends who come here after seeing this comment in the future, please protect this place well.
