"Perfect location. It was a 5-min walk from the bus station and less than 10 min from Roadside rest area. Room was spacious and it faced to the sea. Enjoyed the beautiful sunset from the balcony . Delicious breakfast and dinner. Food of western and Japanese style was provided. Dining area was big. Unfortunately, the staff didn't speak English. Need to spend sometime to communicate and they tried their best to give help anyway. Better to use the Google translate in this case. Check-in time was 15;00. There is no receptionist before that. For guests arrived before 15:00 can leave luggage in the hotel but guests had to bear the responsibility."

I had originally booked for two nights, but due to a heavy snowstorm in Sapporo, I couldn't make it. After contacting the hotel through Trip.com, they were very kind and allowed me to cancel one night, which saved me from a loss. Excellent service!"

"The hotel has been renovated. I checked in on Sunday, October 2025. It wasn't peak season. My room seemed to have been upgraded. It was a large and quite beautiful room. Overall, I would definitely stay here again. Advantages: 1. A very thoughtful hotel that pays attention to small details. 2. The lobby, dining environment, and in-room hot springs are all excellent. The hotel is very spacious. 3. The staff are very polite. 4. Each building's hallways have a different theme. 5. There is free coffee in the lobby, and the TV has interesting programs. Disadvantages: It's a 1.3 km uphill walk from the bus station to the hotel with luggage. This might be inconvenient for women."

We stayed in the west wing, which made finding the restaurant and the large public bath a bit inconvenient. After checking in, there's a complimentary bar offering some simple snacks, Japanese sake, wine, and one ice cream per person. Both dinner and breakfast are buffet-style and of good quality."

"This Chinese New Year, I embarked on a solo trip to Shiretoko Peninsula, dubbed Japan's last unexplored region. The room was spotless, the views were absolutely incredible, and the food was among the best I've had on my many trips to Japan. The price was also a steal – three nights with breakfast and dinner included, right during peak CNY, for under 2000 [currency unspecified, likely RMB]. You'd be lucky to find a rundown hostel for that price in Europe! The only minor downside was that the onsen view was just okay, but at this price, who's complaining? I'd love to bring my parents here someday. Keep up the excellent quality!"

"The hotel is located on a hillside, just over a kilometer from the Shiretoko Bus Stop (which takes you to the Shiretoko Five Lakes and Mount Rausu) and about a kilometer from the cruise ship terminal. The uphill climb from the bus stop to the hotel can be challenging with suitcases, so contact the hotel in advance to arrange for a pick-up at the bus stop. The hotel facilities are clean and tidy, though some areas appear a bit dated. The view of the coast from the room is stunning, and the sunset glow is beautiful. The outdoor onsen is excellent. The breakfast and dinner are decent, though the drinks are a bit unpalatable."
