"Highly recommended! We booked a Western-style room in the West Wing, and it was incredibly spacious with fantastic views. The only minor drawback was the bit of a walk to the onsen, restaurant, and smoking room. The dinner is an absolute must-try – super abundant and authentically Japanese, with high-quality ingredients. The scallops and wagyu beef are unlimited, and there's an all-you-can-drink alcohol option, plus daily rotating dishes. We even got to try venison and bear meat! We stayed for two days, and there weren't many tour groups yet, but lots of Japanese seniors. It made me wonder if it reminded them of the prosperity during Japan's economic boom. The onsen area is also huge, and the wash and shower areas were the largest I've seen in Japan. They clearly label whether the baths are regular tap water or hot spring water, and I saw staff meticulously checking the temperature and water quality of each one."

"The hotel is located a 20-minute walk from the bus stop. Although it’s a hostel, the room is spacious and includes a safe and a refrigerator. The bedding is clean. There’s no shower in the room, as this is an onsen-style hotel. There’s no kettle in the room either — a shared one is available on the first floor in a small kitchen equipped with a stove and a microwave. The only downside is the absence of a water cooler or filter for drinking water. You have to buy bottled water from a vending machine and pour it into the shared kettle. The view from the window is stunning. The air conditioner is AI-powered — it even talks 😁"

The location is very good and conveniently located near many local attractions, making sightseeing incredibly easy. In terms of service, the front counter staff were okay, but the restaurant service was absolutely superb—the dining staff really stood out and made our meals memorable. As for the room and property, the cleanliness was quite good. However, the facilities are feeling a bit old. This is especially true for the swimming pool area, which looks a bit creepy if you go down there at night. If you're looking for a prime location and great food, it's a solid choice, but don't expect brand-new amenities."

"Perfect location. It was a 5-min walk from the bus station and less than 10 min from Roadside rest area. Room was spacious and it faced to the sea. Enjoyed the beautiful sunset from the balcony . Delicious breakfast and dinner. Food of western and Japanese style was provided. Dining area was big. Unfortunately, the staff didn't speak English. Need to spend sometime to communicate and they tried their best to give help anyway. Better to use the Google translate in this case. Check-in time was 15;00. There is no receptionist before that. For guests arrived before 15:00 can leave luggage in the hotel but guests had to bear the responsibility."

"The hotel has been renovated. I checked in on Sunday, October 2025. It wasn't peak season. My room seemed to have been upgraded. It was a large and quite beautiful room. Overall, I would definitely stay here again. Advantages: 1. A very thoughtful hotel that pays attention to small details. 2. The lobby, dining environment, and in-room hot springs are all excellent. The hotel is very spacious. 3. The staff are very polite. 4. Each building's hallways have a different theme. 5. There is free coffee in the lobby, and the TV has interesting programs. Disadvantages: It's a 1.3 km uphill walk from the bus station to the hotel with luggage. This might be inconvenient for women."
