A city I have wanted to visit for a long time. I took advantage of the off-peak travel period during the May Day holiday. Among the many hotels in the central city, I finally locked in Joy City Hotel one day before departure based on my trust in the Atour brand. It turned out to be the right choice. There is also a gym and laundry room on the first floor. During my stay, I was politely greeted by the front desk staff when I entered and exited the hotel, and all my reasonable requests were met. The hotel has convenient transportation, with multiple buses at the door. You can take bus No. 1️⃣ from the railway station and get off at the Supply and Marketing Building Station. On the second day of my arrival in Shaoxing, I went to Anchang Ancient Town for a green trip. I took bus No. 5 to Zhijiang College and changed to bus No. 116 to Anhua Road and Huanzhen South Road. Shaoxing is so undervalued in the Jiannan area. If you can tolerate the scent of stinky tofu, you would enjoy the leisure time at Shaoxing. This holiday inn located in the old town area is by the side of water channel within 2min of walks to the stone streets. Perfect location for citywalkers. Their friendly staffs, Dongzhi, Qiufen and Jingzhe will help you to pick up your luggage and communicate with you through WeChat (the Chinese version of WhatsApp).
