Shanghai Minhang District Hotels

Arrived midnight, check in smooth and receptionist kind to see we were tired gave room near elevator. Friendly and stayed overnight before heading out 8AM for my train. Overall it is worth it if you need to stay night or frequent use as a place to stay while u explore the surrounding or town. About 8to10mins didi ride to train station. Very thoughtful to have ear plugs etc. I am not light sleeper but this is thoughtful for hotel to prepare. And reception gave my kid a key chain as farewell gift when checking out. Overall recommended for price point and services offered.

The Hotel was easy to find, you just step out of the car and there you see it.  The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Me and my family we were in a frustrating situation, they handled our situation very well. No unnecessary drama just professionalism. Soo impressive. The rooms are very clean and spacious. We were travelling with twins on strollers and we didn’t struggle to store our luggage. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

The bedding is clean and hygienic, and the whole house intelligent voice control is quite interesting. Although the breakfast is simple, it is also hygienic. The Hongqiao Airport high-speed rail pick-up service is very considerate, and it only takes more than ten minutes to get to the airport. This is really friendly for late arrivals and early rises, saving a lot of trouble and time!

The service was very good! The room was very clean. The location is ok, not near the city center but close to the train station I use. The amenities are limited, no coffee or tea in the room. Good value for money though, definitely ok for the one night stay I needed

The hotel’s facilities were impressive, especially the large indoor swimming pool—perfect for relaxation. The overall amenities were top-notch, ensuring a pleasant stay. The location is a bit far from the nearest station, so we had to take around 10 mins taxis when going out. However, once you reach the station, it only takes about 30 minutes to get to central Shanghai, which was convenient for sightseeing. Despite the slight distance, the hotel’s excellent service, beautiful design, and fantastic facilities made it worth it. Highly recommended for a luxurious and comfortable stay!

The hotel for our first stop in Shanghai was too late for our flight, so we chose a hotel near the airport. It was affordable and had a nice environment. It was indeed a garden hotel, and the flowers in the courtyard were beautifully maintained. The breakfast at the Ye Bing restaurant near the hotel tasted good, too.

Great value for money, room comfortably and spacious compare to others in shanghai. The down point is thin wall can here next room talking all night. Impressive pickup transfer from Hongqiao Airport T2. Pick up location is P6 Kangaroo level(1 floor) of P6 parking lot.

Even though the statf of the hotel hardly speak english but with app tool like wechat they understand and helped us for some of our personal needs. The room is very clean, neat and spacious. Also the gym is close to the restaurant. I will recommend this to my friend and definitely will comeback again.

Looks Like an Old Palace, But Not Worth the Price” I recently stayed at Kaiyuan Manju Select Hotel (Hongqiao Hub National Exhibition Center Store) and honestly, it felt more like stepping into a historic palace than a modern hotel. The building and rooms are huge, and there's definitely a classic, old-time vibe, but unfortunately, that didn't translate into a comfortable 4-star experience. While the bed was decent and room size impressive, the flooring was dirty, and there were ants and mosquitoes around, which made it hard to relax. The hotel overall feels worn out, like it hasn't been updated in a long time — more like something out of 1500-1600 BC/AD than a current-day premium stay. The breakfast was below average, with staff doing the bare minimum. There’s no nearby market, ATM, or convenience store, so it’s not great if you need quick access to essentials. The only plus is that it's relatively close to the domestic airport, which might suit transit travelers. ⚠️ Important Tip: Be cautious before booking. Double-check the location and what's included, because while it’s not terrible, there are definitely better options at the same price point. Think of this place more like an old palace with big rooms but poor upkeep, not a true 4-star hotel.
