Eventually I showed them the picture of the room I booked/paid for. Then I got it. The cleaning however was also less provided. The first day no one cleaned the room. The second day, in the late afternoon, the cleaning lady entered it but didn’t make the bed and just left after putting two new bottles. But I was mostly quite happy with the room, so all was fine as long as there was no interaction needed. Picture 1 (small) shows the room the brought me to. Picture 2 was the room I booked.

This Hanting Hotel is located in the commercial center of Xuhui District, very close to the Tushanwan Community Canteen, which is very convenient for taking children to eat. You can go to the Xujiahui Library from the Xujiahui Metro Underground Passage Exit 3, which is about 500 meters away from the hotel. It is very close and very convenient to go to the church and Metro City. The hotel staff is very warm and friendly, and the laundry room is clean and sanitary. I highly recommend it!

The house is too small and the sanitation is too bad. The toilet is too high, and short people can't urinate or defecate, and they have to stand on their toes to sit on the toilet. It's so painful. Breakfast is 2 small buns wrapped in a plastic bag and 1 cup of soy milk. The lobby is so dirty, and there is garbage everywhere. I wanted to check out, but after the check-out time, I endured and stayed overnight. It's very bad, don't be fooled by the good reviews online. The corridor is only 1 meter wide, and only one person can walk. The roof is very low, and it's stuffy and panic.

This is the second time I stayed at this hotel because of its good location. It is about 10 minutes' walk from Xujiahui and Shanghai Stadium subway stations. There is a square nearby. The surrounding area is basically a residential area. There is also a convenience store downstairs. The room is generally OK. It has everything it should have, but the wall is a little moldy and looks dirty. But I suggest you ask the front desk for the second floor. The first time I stayed on the second floor, it was relatively quiet. As a result, this time I stayed on the third floor, which was next to the laundry room. It was really too noisy. At 12 o'clock in the middle of the night, people walked in and out to wash clothes and slammed the door. It started again at 7 o'clock in the morning. I originally chose a windowless room because I wanted it to be quiet, but it was so noisy. You can book a room on site during non-holidays or concerts. I booked a month in advance, but the platform was dozens of yuan more expensive than the market price on that day.
