Hotel dekat Yeouido Hangang Park, Seoul

Location is more suitable for business travellers who want to work & commute in financial district, otherwise there’s not much to do in this whole area as it’s very hard to find a decent or simple eatery which opens near late night compared to living in Dongdaemun and Gangnam. Our room is located high and we can have a glance of the nearby buildings and overlooked further. They don’t provide full amenities compared to 2 other 5-stars hotels we had stayed in during this trip. So prep yourself with our necessary amenities like earbuds, combs, earplugs, sewing kits if needed in any case.. The hotel room is quite spacious and toilet is equipped with a bathtub which we didn’t get to utilise at all but my child had once because she wanted to play a bath bomb for 10 mins. Other items like ironing board, iron, Nespresso coffee machine, distilled water bottles, beverages and condiments, safe box, fridge were all provided. And I find it quite troubling as there were too many ‘big-country’ tourists either staying in the hotel or those living in Seoul going to the Hyundai Seoul mall to buy luxury goods. And the entire mall is crazily flooded and packed with youngsters on the day of our check-in and the next day. Some came to window-shop while most others came in for food and perhaps after meals, to seek shelter and shield from the cold. You won’t be believed this you can’t even find a place to eat as all fast food eateries, snacks counters and restaurants were fully unavailable. There were basically long queues everywhere you go. Ended up my super famished poor child had to walk a long way with us & venture out in the cold to find any available restaurant to have our dinner. International breakfast is served daily at L5 and the buffet spread is limited compared to the one we stayed & had in Dongdaemun. We had to pay additional 55,000KRW (SGD55) per day for our young child to dine in with us as her breakfast was not included in our accommodation package. I think it’s really too expensive and given that we always came down only at 9.30am and the breakfast stopped at 10am sharp. The food she always had was a small bowl of cereal, 4 small bite-sized hash-browns and a glass of milk only where she had to eat fast within 30mins before they closed for the day. For such price paid, it’s totally not worth it and we can’t avoid paying lesser despite they knew we only had 30 mins left to dine. Overall the concierge service crews’ attitude and professionalism were excellent and Fairmont had the best staffs with great service i encountered during our 3 weeks stay across 3 different 5-stars hotels. I wished I will have another chance to stay here again but the price for each night is SGD450++, which is really expensive.

Conveniently located next to IFC mall. There is a walkway at L1 that leads you directly to the mall with many high end stores. However, I am not quite happy with their pool. Half of the pool is blocked for play. There are about 20-30 kids there. I doubt they are all hotel guests. The remaining two lanes are ”members only,” and ”laps.” I am not sure what kind of membership you need to be able to swim on the members only lane. That lane is usually not occupied. The lap lane is busy. People jump in and out wihtout notifying the people alreay in the lane. I hit severl people by accident because of the lack of warning. When I asked whether I can use the members only lane. I was told no. Again, I am a paying guest for the hotel. Why can't I use the members only lane? In addition, they have to clean the pool every two hours for 15 minutes (pool is closed during the cleaning). I have never seen a pool that needs cleaning every two hours. Very poor management there.

The service from the young lady was very nice and friendly when I checked in on the first day, but she was just average the next two days. She asked a lot of questions and looked impatient. I was quite disappointed when I checked out. I forgot to unplug the adapter when I left. When I came back to get it, the front desk asked the room service. After waiting for almost 20 minutes at the front desk, they said they didn't have it. I was sure it wasn't unplugged. The front desk finally gave me a room card and asked me to find it in the room myself, but when I went upstairs, the room had already been cleaned. It's obvious that the cleaning staff unplugged it when they were cleaning, and they didn't want to find it for you because they were in a hurry to get a room at noon, or they didn't have a solution for handling items left behind by customers. Why do I say that? Because I still have a hand cream in the room (I didn't want it and didn't take it away), and I didn't see the room service report the left-behind items to the front desk. So... Is it possible that foreign hotels don't have this service link? Because I was in a hurry to go to the airport, I had to give up and couldn't wait. Fortunately, charging at Incheon Airport is convenient and very user-friendly. There are domestic standard sockets and USB ports on the floor. I have to give a thumbs up here.

Everything is great, except if you visit Korea during October. The hotel will turn off the AC system, and you have to open windows during night. You will hear a bit noise from the street, otherwise wonderful hotel.

It feels like living comfortably in a country house with family who have been staying for a long time. The reason I chose this place is because I can always do dawn prayer, 3:40 evangelism, and evening Sunday service on Sundays 1, 2, and 3. It's always close to the church, and when I go to dawn prayer at 3:40, the police officers patrol. They stand and guard the road, so I'm grateful for the dawn prayer and greeting each other. I'm so grateful that there's a 24-hour mart and a restaurant. The staff is kind. 200%. The cleaning is a bit lacking. Please take good care of the 100-point cleaning assistants. It must be hard. I ask them to clean every day, but I wonder if the teachers are having a hard time. I also clean up everything so that I only pick up trash on the floor. Even though it's hard for regular customers, please take good care of me. Thank you, I'm always grateful. Thanks to you, I feel good when I go out and come back.

The location of the apartment is convenient as it is situated near a convenience store and several restaurants. Additionally, it is only a 10-minute walk away from the subway station. The room is relatively spacious but appears to be cluttered and unclean. The sofa has stains on it which is not very pleasant. However, the sound insulation of the room is poor and I often hear noises from the elevator and other rooms during the night. The elevator itself is not very hygienic and has an unpleasant smell. Moreover, the breakfast choices are limited.

The hotel environment is of good quality, the equipment is complete and novel, the mattresses are comfortable and moderately hard, and the electric heater is thoughtfully installed, which can be used immediately if the weather suddenly gets cold. The mall is nearby, so it is very convenient to go shopping when you go out.

The hotel is located in a convenient area between Gongdeok and Mapo stations. Behind the hotel there are many eateries and pubs. I usually choose this hotel when I visit because of all the hotels in the area, this typically is always at a favorable price point comparably.

The hotel is centrally located near subway lines 5 and 1. You can also take line 5 to Gimpo airport easily. The rooms are very clean, but are small. The breakfast is very healthy and fresh, but primarily Korean options. But it is good. The service is outstanding, and all front desk speak very good English. I will come here and stay here again for work travel.

The room is large, clean and comfortable. In winter, the room heating measures are also very good. It is very hot when sleeping under the quilt. The price of the room is also very cheap. The only bad thing is that it is near the subway entrance. It is too noisy and difficult to sleep and rest, but my boyfriend We work nearby, and because the rooms allow smoking, we chose this hotel as the most popular one. There is also a little lack of sound insulation.
