Hotel Bintang 3 di Seoul

The location is right next to Myeong Dong subway station exit 10 which is perfect for shoppers. However many of the other city attractions you need to transfer to another line. The hotel is old but the maintenance is good. Room is spacious and there are decent amenities. The sound proof is strong enough coz during the last night there was a mandarin speaking couple stay in the opposite door and they have friends inside and keep chit chat till 04:00 am but you hear nothing with the door closed. The English level of the FO staff is strong enough so had a smooth communication when check in which I really appreciate. And the hotel is super Japanese friendly. A hotel that attached to detail and overall had a pleasant stay in there. Will choose this hotel again for next visit.

Baiton Hotel has a really wonderful location. The shuttle from the airport can literally drop us off and pick us up in front of the hotel lobby. Also, there is a food street in walkable distance. Highly recommended.

Nice Hotel at excellent location. Just a mere 2 minutes from Myeongdong station and it's right at the heart of the Myeongdong shopping street. Amenities are plentiful with nice restaurants and food, all within walking distance. The limousine bus shuttle station is only 1 minute away. So it's really convenient if you are taking the limousine bus to airport. Room was spacious and clean, but the view was bad. My room was directly facing another building less than 10m away, so basically was facing a wall all the time. Room looks old too. Breakfast was terrible though it was cheap at 13.5k won. There was only soup, fries, rice, pasta, eggs and white bread for the mains. I would prefer/rather to be charged much higher and pay more for a much better breakfast. There's luggage storage locker whereby it's free for the first 12 hours. So it's useful for those with late flights and has spare time to do some last-minute shopping. Overall, I think it's a no ok place but given the price, I may opt for other newer nine tree hotels instead.

Had the worse experience in Stanford Hotel Myeongdong. For context: I was solo travelling, fluent in English but not Korean. Asked the hotel receptionist to book Kakao taxi for me to the pickup point for my group tour to Nami island. She booked the taxi on her phone and told me to go downstairs to wait. After 15 mins, the driver didn’t show up and I had to go back up to the reception (9th floor) to ask her where the driver was. She told me he cancelled. I proceeded to tell her to book the taxi using my KakaoT app instead. She booked in Korean and I boarded the taxi only to be dropped off at a location that was NOT my intended destination. It was a 40 min walk / 19 min bus ride away from my actual destination. It was an absolute nightmare. I had to stop some strangers in the street and attempt to communicate with them in Korean to get directions. It was an empty stretch of road so it was really by chance that they were in the vicinity. Eventually I made it to my destination for the Nami island pickup. If I had been any later, the tour group would have left without me. The hotel receptionist made a huge mistake assuming that my destination was somewhere else instead of clarifying with me why I’m going to that destination. This experience was extremely unpleasant and I am shocked that the hotel receptionist did not type in the address EXACTLY as the one I showed her. Similar name doesn’t mean same location or my intended location. I am never staying at this hotel again.

I like the location it is not busy and crowded. Away from the busy streets of Myeongdong and Hongdae. Old but gold! I mean they maintained the cleanliness of the place. What’s good about it is it has a bus stop limousine going to the hotel right in front of the hotel. It has a convenient store and pharmacy on the LL. I highly recommend the place.

My no.1 hotel in Seoul, the location was great you can connect both metro and bus in front of hotel and airport limousine drop you directly. Surrounded by Hannam and nice restaurant. Olive young and footlocker just spotted in front of hotel. If you dont mind about noisy this alternative was great !

The hotel is very new and clean, located near the the metro train station, especially the airport line, which is so convenient to commute between the airport. The buffet breakfast is included, which should have nothing to complain, although the variety is limited and would be nice to see some Korean style breakfast. Would consider this hotel for our next trip back to Korea.

Great location. The walk way to the room feel like ******* house, quite scary and dirty with dust. (Feel like halloween cuz I visited there on 31st Oct) But when you entry the room, it’s special! Never expected this type of Bathroom and toilets in Korea! I always compare bathroom if each countries’ hotel. For me, south korean hotel had the worst bathroom. But this hotel is different! They separate everything in the bathroom like in China! Light in the room can be adjusted into many purple/pink light, and also go back go white light too. The cleanliness still needed to be improved, though, but overall is good. The system quite hi-tech like in China. So appreciated. If I come to Hongdae, this hotel will be my choice again!

Pros: - 5min walk from train station (exit 8) - OliveYoung & Daiso is just a few minutes away - Pharmacies & convenience stores are a few steps away from the hotel - It is very near a popular shopping street - Buses near the hotel can get you to several key places - Staff are friendly and can understand a little English - Free skincare samples from Dear Klair’s at the reception - Washer + Dryer & Microwave on L2 Cons: - It is an upslope from the train station exit - only 1 pair of washer+dryer so you might need to queue up for a while to use it - reception is at B1 instead of L1 (a little confusing) - toothbrush and toothpaste are NOT provided

The room we got was 15 m2 which is just big enough for a double bed to fit inside and nothing else. The bathroom/shower was great and more than big enough. The location is great as well as there is a big market with lots of local food to eat an many coffee shops nearby. The closes shrine is about 15 minutes walking so the location is pretty good overall. I dont really have anything negative to say but if you need a lot of space then this is not the room for you.
