Good and excellent

Really clean with a nice receptionist who can speak English and Japanese. Have hot water and clean the room daily. The only problem is that the Aircon is Central control. It doesn't allow us to change the temp and will auto off after 7pm, according to the receptionist. the Aircon switches off at 12 am in the morning leaving the room hot and stuffy. The receptionist provided a fan instead but it is still not very comfortable as the room is still quite hot even in autumn

The hotel’s prime location across from the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) is noteworthy, offering proximity to a Seoul landmark. Despite concerns about street noise, the interior remains pleasantly quiet. The room was well-kept and equipped with essential amenities like soap, shampoo, toothbrush, etc. Navigating the entrance posed a slight challenge, given its resemblance to the adjacent shopping center building. Improving accessibility could be achieved by clearly indicating the hotel’s location at the entrance.

Recommended for solo travelers. I was worried after reading the reviews, but the narrowness and cleanliness didn't bother me at all. I booked an economy double room, but it was the same size as a single room in a Japanese business hotel. I wouldn't have booked it for two adults, but it didn't bother me for one person. I've stayed in several areas so far, but this was the most convenient location to stay. There are restaurants and cafes nearby that are easy for women to go to alone. (In other areas, there are surprisingly many restaurants, but there are often few places to go easily.) To access, go out Exit 1 of Dongdaemun History and Culture Park Station, go straight to the left, go through DDP, and there is an exit with an up escalator, so you can get out right in front of Migliore, which was very convenient! (As of April 2025) There are a lot of tourists and it's lively, but it was nice that it wasn't trashy like Myeongdong. I liked the atmosphere of the hotel, which was calm. One disadvantage is that there are rooms with a bad view. I requested a good view, but the view was almost a wall. If you look in, you can see outside. If I can book a room with a good view at a low price, I'll try it next time!

The location is good, and the service and room condition are also very good. I often use Milliore when booking accommodation. The night market is right in front of the hotel.
