"Our stay at Holiday Inn Resort Batam was lovely-peaceful and made special by the **exceptional staff** . Thank you to the receptionist for alerting us about a forgotten food package, engineering for quickly fixing our bathroom door, housekeeping for daily tidying and sweet towel toys for my daughter, and the restaurant manager for the thoughtful honey lemon drink. While the building feels a bit dated, the **genuine hospitality** here shines brighter. Highly recommend for families seeking a relaxing getaway!"

"I book 3 room for this trip and informed the hotel that I will be celebrating bday for my husband. It was very nice for the hotel to prepare cake for my husband unfortunately my brother in law did the check in before my arrival. And the room the hotel prepared the cake was taken by my father and mother in law. A bit disappointed for this. Overall the staff is friendly. There was twice the staff came in the room to do some check and repair but they wore shoe in the toilet and caused footprint at my hotel and corridors. The location of the hotel is far from the major attractions after check in we jx spend time at the hotel areas. There were some activities to do. Majority of it need to pay extra. The free one were not very well maintained. Eg pool table, missing ball."

"The location will be very difficult to find food. The rooms are very spacious like a football field. But not soundproof. Even if you book a non-smoking room, the smell will still creep in from outside. Hot water and water availability as well as shower and toilet facilities are very complete and flow well and adjustment is easy. There is liquid soap and a toothbrush and a small amount of typical hotel toothpaste but no shampoo. There are towels. Trash and tissue bins in the room are complete, both in the bathroom and at the table. The receptionists changed, some were friendly and cooperative, some were rude and arbitrary. Overall the hotel is not clean even though it is not in the very dirty category. No cockroaches compared to other hotels in the area at the same price. AC functions normally. There is a room light that doesn't work but it doesn't disturb the whole room. There are charging plugs in many spots, making activities very easy. Local TV channels and the rest is news but not a smart TV Overall it is still very good compared to others at this price but the location is not very strategic for backpackers and is comfortable for those who bring their own vehicles because the parking lot is very large."

"Locate along the roadside. Can be seen. Nearby opposite have a household shop, nothing to offer. Look like going to closed down. And a 98 foodcourts . At night along the road many stall selling BBQ fish.. In hotel room look small not from the picture becos a lot of pillars taking up the Space. Toilet very small , bathing must be careful . Water will splash into the clothes hanging area. To me is not worth staying here. Breakfast have to take grab to Penuin/ Nagoya area."

"Visited again, this time the room type is good and has a bathtub. The hotel's beer spa experience is good, and the breakfast options are not too many. Regardless of the location, the overall value for money is great."
